Some updated stats:
1) 28 bosses, three drops. 10.71% drop rate of replicas
2) after much observation, it turns out that base hit area is around 24 points (need confirmation, may be due to wep damage).
3) It also turns out that hit area is affected by consecrate! Hit spell is not, so this is a huge plus
4) They ALWAYS loot gheals if you die during spawn. Solution is to put single pots in pack. This is also nice if you get pk'ed. freezes them for a while looting everything

No trick really. The slower the wep speed, the higher the possible leech intensity. If you put SSI on a wep, it drops leech max in a ration with it. That is why pick is so perfect for jousting. AI + 93% mana leech!

For swords, try the long sword. should be around max 90 leech. And has AI!

Lance and other SLOOWWW weps can get to 100% leech.

It's a slow weapon without SSI. You can get 100% on Lances if you wanted it.

I'd like to imbue up a Hally with max leeches sometime. WW would be insane on it.

I've got a Hally right now with a couple of 100's on the home shard, unimbued. Just had it for deco really, never done anything with it.

problem with slow weps and WW is speed. great for small monsters, but i dont see it working well in dragons n such. fun to try, i might be surprised ( goes to imbue war hammer)

*edit* Observation at spawns show that WW with more than 4 targets (especially with hit area) will always keep you at max health / mana. So speed may be your friend there.

Also, swords guys, try large battle axe. 3.75 speed will get you close to 100%, but not be quite as slow as hally.

On my blackstaves, (WW), I use three different set ups

1) level 1-2 spawn:
62 HML
62 HLL
40 DI
Slayer
Hit area (chosen by lowest avg for spawn, but see above about consecrate)

2) level 3-4 spawn
62 HML
62 HLL
40 HLA
Slayer
40 DI

3) general wep
62 HML
62 HLL
50 HLA
40 HSL
40 DI

sheesh, third edit.
Halberd can imbued to 100%. (WW)
Large battle axe and warhammer can be imbued to 93% (WW)
longsword can be imbue to 87% (AI)
war axe can be imbued to 81% (AI)

Fencing
Lajatang can be imbued to 87 (FWW)
Leafblade can be imbued to 65% (AI)
spear can be imbued to 68% (AI)

wait wait wait. Anyone else recalls oemthing about polearms types (halberd) being given a range of two tiles?

At times, i was seeing damages in excess of 100 points. WITHOUT enemy of one or honor or slayer. I can only suppose that the WW damage was stacking with hit area, which stacks per hit.
attack area is one tile. not sure about other weapons yet.

Got pwned by a stackup of 14 zealots and drakes, but that could be due to the lack of a slayer. I was handling stacks up to that point of 6. With blackstaff, can handle up to 16, more is death.

Thanks for the template info and the screeny.  I think I might try a version with swords.

Why not a Dragon Slayer weapon for the actual champ?  300% DI against Rikky instead of 200%...

You have to watch you don't overdo the 300% side...

I was just doing RIKITIKIRATTATOUE in the Abyss...

Repond slaying weapon + Vermin Talisman + EoO = 104, 111, 117 hits

Good to know that Divine Fury can take you over the 300....

I have noticed the divine fury too, but attributed it to my being at 95% DI. I only get a 1 point boost.

Nope, divine takes you over the 300%. It's not a lot, but worth noting. Especially in my case above, I didn't need EoO so I could just spam DF instead and get the extra SSI and that little damage boost.

soory not posted so long.work has been unreal. PLus my new addiction to Rikki. Now routinely doing no death spawns. Average time is 45 minutes. Average time to kill rikki is 7 minutes. a little less than 6 is my fastest.

Sunday, I attempted stygian with the same hammer pick in the pic. First time, killed him in 45 minutes, and 4 deaths. Second time, 1 death and 35 minutes. I swapped out my ring for an Ecru. This made a HUGE difference. Third time, no deaths and 30 minutes.

With a 40 Swing Dragon Slayer comp bow and enough stamina/ extra swing on the suit you can shoot ai's at 1.75 seconds (1.5 is cap on a comp bow) hitting for upwards of 140 damage a shot. With the right template you can almost ai every time. I can drop him in 20 minutes on one guy with the right suit/template/bow.

Suit:
40 lmc
at least 11-13 mr
+30 Stamina would be good
Mana increase (RBC would be good)
45 hit chance

Monkeys and Typewriters!

I'm at 2 sec swing. 1.75 with Divine Fury, and hitting for up to 186. my biggest hold up now is getting template rearranged to fit in 18 more LMC to reach 40. Then I can do near constant AI.
The big advantage of pick versus a bow is 93% mana leech. PLus its just plain fun. I think I can get it down a little more with practice. Not sure how fast I can get it to yet.

There is a thread on stratics about a guy who has lumberjacking and uses a hatchet to AI on the Rikki, he said that 60+ mana and some level of lmc that he has got 40 AI's off in a row. 

I have been buring dull hammers in hope of a 100% cold dashio which I would be able to bash Rikki with but no luck so far.  Disco'd he is simple if you have sound on and hit feint at the correct time.  If I get this cold weap I'd never have to cons again which would save my limited mana pool greatly. 
Nope!  I'm doing what all the real PvPers do:  Scripting everything except the running away part!  I'm real good at that already...
