This works great, I just tried it this weekend. I liked it enough to add fishing to my 2nd account. I am still not sure if I should complete the SoS's or trash them for points? I tried both versions and didn't really see any difference? Is the fish turn in different than trashing the fish steaks for cleanup points? Sorry, I have been gone along time and so far have spent more time on Google trying to find answers to questions.. than I have spent time playing the game.

I forget what the differences are exactly, but they have to do with high seas fish I believe.

donation is for fish steaks and scales.  I wouldn't do it, though because you can get stuck in there donating.

Do whichever suits you best. With the right scripts (TM has a great one) fishing up the SoS's is a snap. On the other hand, if you are the type to go for cleanup points you will probably get more by fishing everything up and trashing the "fished up from a shipwreck" junk.

I have been looking on every message in this post and I just cant find the script files. When people answers they say its in the very first post. But there is nothing to download in the first post, and the written script to copy from is only some info lines, so my question again is, where do I find this Fisherman script ??

Specifically, section 3 which states

An introduction is required for access to all scripts. All new users are automatically Restricted. You will remain restricted until a staff member accepts your introduction.

I have a little problem, it all runs well until it have gated to bank and back to the boat again, then it stops. It still says Bank run in the bottom and it dosent equip my fishing pole and continue the script.
What can I be doing wrong ?

Just found out it dosent equip my fishingpole and start again after killing a serpent either :-(

I am sure TrailMyx will have a better answer for you but here are a couple of my suggestions.

1. Go back through the guided setup and make sure everything is setup correctly.
2. When you start the script, make sure you are in the correct position on your ship
3. Not sure what the advantages are of using gate but maybe try using recall instead

Sounds like you're on a weird freeshard....

Hey TrailMyx, I think you are right, I am playing on a private server called ABCUO (http://www.abcuo.com/)
So that meens there is nothing I can do to make the script run the right way ?

lots of peeps have gotten it to work on their particular freeshard, but because they are so different, that's why we don't support them.

For gating, some Siege players have gotten it to work, so perhaps they'll share their experience.

Note you just added one line to the main loop.

I added these to Things, but mine just say "You must first disarm a weapon in order to arm one"
That Means that it dosent equip my fishing pole after I have killed a serpent. Anyone got a clue on what I could add or something ?

Sorry that dosent tells me anything, my problem is I dont know how to make script awork t all, thats why I am here to hopefully get help. I know you dont support it, but I hoped maybe some others might wanna help me out :-)

But no spellbook dont equip at my server either when I cast a spell.

Sure it does.  Try equipping your fishing pole, then use the UO macro to disarm MANUALLY.  Then run the script with the added code.

You'll have to work at it to figure it out, but there are lots of clues.

Now you see why we don't support free shards...

Gets stuck in a loop saying:

You must first disarm a weapon before you can arm one.
You must wait to perform another action.
You must wait to perform another action.
The fishing pole must be equipped first.
For my purposes, I'm going to see if I can just edit out the arm/disarming code.

If that works, I'll try to figure out a way to detect if anything is equipped, THEN run the arm/disarm, ELSE go to equipping the pole.

Hope that makes sense and don't let my weak attempts at butchering your code prevent you from putting up an actual solution! heh!

EDIT: Ok, I removed the arm, disarm code and it appears to have worked.  I'll watch it for a few to be sure, but it did equip the pole and start fishing.

I'm going to make an attempt to detect if the character has a weapon in either hand, THEN have that hand unequip, then or else have it equip the pole.  Should work.  Maybe.  Gotta figure out how to detect what might be carried. 

Hey, it seems like you made it work, can you share more acurate what you did, since I dont know much about scripthing
I get samme error message as you, so what did you do and where to make it work ?
