For a week or so not a single reply. I was starting to think most people didn't like the guide :p. Good to see I was wrong ^^ Ill start thinking of another one I can write.

Ive used similar methods before 12timesover. I tend to use the selling method with events though. If you join an event on another shard rather then your own even with a newbie you can sell rewards for millions.

I used to make fighter types too pet killer. Specifically when you could do the pali quest for undead slayers. But a Highplanes bora has over 600 hp and can hit pretty hard. You can also tame a ruddy bora sense they only take 2 slots. Then with a character minutes old you can take down most advanced spawns excluding champ lvl monsters.

And it only takes about 200 skill points (50tame,50lore,100vet) to have both boras which makes it easy to be a fighter type as well. At least until you hit your skill cap then you can decide how to specialize.

UO-Related Tutorials / New Shard/New Player 1 day millionaire guide
« on: March 24, 2011, 05:58:06 AM »
I have been a member of this site for a short time now with no real contribution to it. I'm still learning to write scripts though I have some good ideas. The main problem is I don't have much spare time. So I decided to post a guide or two for now. Any guide I post, I have tested my self, and it works.

This is my technique for joining a new server. With one day of work you can make over a million gold and can start to do some advanced spawns. If you move away from making gold after your first day. By the end of the week you can have a greater dragon and do nearly all of the most advanced spawns in the game. So here it is step by step.

Requirement's: Stygian Abyss, time. That's it :P

Step 1: Roll a gargoyle with max strength, animal taming, imbuing. Start in new haven.

Step 2: Lock dex it will be the least important stat for a wile. Then head to the animal trainers east of the bank and buy veterinary but not animal lore.

Step 3: Find a small animal around town and tame it. Then either make a last skill last target macro or use an animal lore script to work animal lore to 50. It usually takes less then 30 minutes to go from  0-50. If your using a script then I suggest moving on right to  step 4 and do it wile training lore..

Short cut past step 4 and 6: this will reduce your survivability but step 4 takes about 30minutes to an hour if you want to skip it just buy spirit speak and move to step 5.

Step 4: Here you will get a bunch of skill quests. You will ultimately be a mage tamer but there is no need to let those extra points go to waste. Get all of the following skill quests. meditation, resisting spells, anatomy, healing, fencing and tactics. Then go to the north part of town and kill animals till you get to about 20 weapon skill or you get to 50 animal lore. If
you reach 20 fencing first then start killing skeletons east of town and collect the gold. If your careful you never loose your animal lore pet.

Step 5: Once you reach 50 animal lore head to ter mor and enter town leave threw the west gate and go north over a bridge in the woods to your west look for a high planes bora and get to taming. Its not to hard to tame one with 50taming/lore should take less then a dozen attempts. Do not let these thing hit you. He hurts ^^.

Step 6: Feed your newly tamed bora fruit purchased from a provisioner. And head back to the new haven undead spawn. Now you will want to use a bandaging script. Tell your bora to follow and guard you. Then walk around attacking undead. You ll get in one swing and the bora will kill it and you should take a hit making your script bandage you. Loot all corpses and purchase bandage as needed. Stay here till you reach 50 healing. You can cut some time off if you use shift to pick up gold. And remember to try to never have full health. Once you hit 40 healing it may be easier to leave your bora behind and lead a large mob around always keeping your self damaged.

Step 7: Now that you have 50 healing cancel all the skill quests and purchase peacing and 10 instruments. No need to buy music its so fast to train. Then take your bora and head to ter mur. Leave your bora at the gate and head south till you cross a bridge then follow the path till you cross a second bridge then follow the sandy path south east till you hit a mountain stick to the wall of that mountain till you circle around it passing a small round pond and come apone a cave entrance. Enter that cave

Step 8: Here comes the money. Now there is a flame on the north west side of this room. Say ord and it will take down the barrier. Run threw the fire and continue forward running past everything untill you get to the two large gargoyle statues. If nothing is following you log off and on quickly to call in your bora. In the square room before the the two gargoyle statues usually has a silver serpent and some undead guardians. The undead guardians are your target. Recently I've found that on some servers they are not in that final room. But you can still fight them easy.
Just hit the switches at the entrance to the dungeon and it will  open some of the doors letting undead guardians out. let them target you and they will pathfind threw the flames to you.

Step 9: Be careful not to get targeted if you are fighting in the finnal room. If you do in the last room there is a sparkly gate that will teleport you back to the entrance. And there is  always peacing. Be sure to click the heck
out of your instruments when you have a free moment so you don't fail your music check so much. Loot everything and put on any armor you can wear. The undead guardians give you 1k+ gold each. earn enough gold to buy a full spell book from luna. Then after you have enough to buy a full magery book get about 10k extra gold. Loot everything so you can break it down with imbuing. If you get heavy head to the royal city in ter mur and break down everything you are not wearing.

Step 10: BY the time you get a full spell book and earn an extra 10k goldbyou should have also broke down enough items to be able to start imbuing. take any medible stuff you are wearing and imbuie lower regent cost onto any piece that doesn't yet have any lrc. You can use the extra gold to buy the jewls you need. I suggest a town people
don't visit alot. So you can buy them at their cheapest. Insure your pieces as soon as they are imbuied. Don't bother powdering them. As soon as you have 100% lrc head back to haven and start up your magery, eval and med quests. Then start up a magery training script. It should take no time at all to  get high enough to start marking and invising

Step 11: Now this is where you take over. I would suggest imbuing up some taming jewelry and working taming on polar bears and snow leopards till you stop gettting gains. By that time you ll be high enough to wear jewelry and get a greater dragon. But this is long term here, as in a few days. If you use the bora and kill the guardians and sell the imbuing ingredients you can make plenty of money. Over a million gold in your first day easy. But I would use that character as your starter to make gold to get things so you can make other characters.

Well thats it I hope you like it ^^. I ll try write some other guides if this one goes over well. And I ll keep practicing script writing.

Fill free to post your opinion on it lol. I forgot to mention. If you use my guide post your results and how long it took. Be sure to let me know about any short  cuts you think of, and how they worked out for you. I'll add them and give you credit.

Hows it  going?!

I think you know who I am. So lets start by telling you a bit about my self. I've been playing uo for a total of about 3 years. I started back in 2000 and after about 2 and a half years I quit. I was getting bored. I've been back now for a wile. And I'm liking all these events. With the hidden temple quest as an exeption. Way to vague *laughes* with thousands of people trying to figure it out for nearly a week and no luck, do they still really think it was designed well? So anyways I'm looking around for a bit of assistance in game. I have uo assist but I'm not happy with it it. I thought I used to be able to make better macros. I've given up on it and want to explore these sorts of programs. I don't pvp, though I spend a lot of time in fel. I have two houses on chesy. One trammel the other fel. I'm into pvm. The harder the monster the more I want to find ways to solo it! I was soloing balrongs paragons on my fighter back when people said it was impossible! Where there is a will, there is a way! :p Oh that's without using any third party programs too lol. Last thing two things I added to my soloed list is the bane demon guards and the blackrock golems with no boat fighting of course.

So introduce your selfs and tell me about some neat stuff you have soloed.

I keep anything with max mods. Such as slayers, faster casting, spell channeling no pen, 20lrc, so on and so forth. It saves you on relic fragments.
