Just look at this sentence. Seven words, yet five completely different meanings.
I didn't say Joe took the money.
I didn't say Joe took the money. - Someone said it, just not me.
I didn't say Joe took the money. - I implied it, or referenced it without saying it.
I didn't say Joe took the money. - I said someone took the money, maybe not Joe.
I didn't say Joe took the money. - He got it, maybe from someone else.
I didn't say Joe took the money. - He took something, maybe not the money.
Don't even get me started on stuff like iron (30 different meanings?) or bass (bass as in the fish or bass as in the low music tones, same spelling, different pronunciation and meaning).
