Beer / Trippel (New Belguim Brewing Company)
« on: October 31, 2008, 08:37:01 PM »
This is one of my favorite belguim ales brewed in the states. It's from New Belguim Brewing Company, the ones that put out Fat Tire (one I can't stand) and others. It has a nice golden color, a little bit of an aroma, and a suttle spice to it. Has to be drank from a snifter type glass. The beer poured into the wrong glass or drank out of the bottle, is bad bad drinking (unless it's Bud/Miller). This is a nice drink if worried about price of some of the imported belguim ales. Maybe Konesky prefers Tres Pistols or La Fin Du Monde... a couple things that I like out of canada, but, this isn't about those beers. It's also not about Ommegang Rare Vois either. Another nicely brewed belguim ale by an American brewery out of Cooperstown NY.

General UO Chat / Looking for a Keep
« on: September 26, 2008, 07:17:38 PM »
Ok, now, I don't have lots of gold, but, I want a Keep. I'm on Atlantic, and really didn't think people would want a couple 100mil for them, what fools. Anyways, now, I come to the conclusion that I should probably transfer to another shard.

Anyone have any idea? I play solo, soooo.. I guess it doesn't matter what shard I go to since, I plan on fighting things by myself and don't shop or sell much.

Script Debug / Nics Bounty Sorter
« on: August 23, 2008, 08:06:06 AM »
Code: [Select]
;=================================================================================================
; Script Name: Nic's Bounty Sorter
; Script Author: Nicar
; Version: 1.0
; Shard OSI / FS: OSI
; Revision Date: 2008/08/25
; Purpose: To sort items from (SOS) fished up chest
; Special Thanks:
;       TrailMyx - For SUO which was used to build the script
;                   and for list of item types in the CLAw
;===============================================================================
; Revision History:
;
; v1.0 - Initial Release
;===============================================================================
;;Set Up:
;When cleaning up your boat, you will be asked to target 2 containers at first.
;First one will be where to store gold, gems, regs and scrolls. Second one will to put
;all other items. After setting them up, you will be asked to target the chest to sort, when done, will prompt for another.
;When storing at a secure, it will locate your trash barrel within 2 tiles from you, so,
;your secure chest and trash barrel must be within 2 tiles so you can reach both. It will prompt
;you to target your secure.
;Dropping shipwreck items, will ask for secure, then dump all items in there that have shipwreck in their property.
;Therefore, this will dump all shipwreck chest on you even if they have not been sorted yet.
;
;;To Do:
;Put in item/container weight checks.
;Put in better functionallity to handle changing "secures" during script without too many prompts.
;Find more then 1 chest at a time while sorting at your secure.
;
;*******************************************************************************

Ok, so, go out, get your SOS fished up, then after that take them and go home. You can even consolidate them on your boat first, and then take them home.

What you will need is a storage container for gems, gold, scrolls, regs. All will be tossed into 1 container. Mine that I use has 61 items, so, it seems to be plenty good for just 1 secure. Also, trash barrel needs to be within reach of your secure. Options, a seprate secure for shipwreck items.

Bug discussion / Save file as...
« on: July 07, 2008, 12:35:15 PM »
Ok, I went to save what was my UOC's Recall Lumber.... I chose save as, and did Nics Recall Lumberjacking v2.j4.0 .  Then I was trying to upload to WinUO. I noticed searching for it, it didn't keep the txt extension, which I came out to find was true, even though it was selected and all when I did save as. So, well, to get around this, I opened in EUO and saved as and it worked. So, not sure if save as is broken like that.

I just got a unhandled exception. I was looking at Ramses sheer sheep code, I clicked on the subs, and clicked on the find_sheep sub, I then click on the line of where the sub started and rolled my mouse scroll bar down to try to scroll down into the code. That's when it happened.

I don't know much about debugging, the details say this:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Wine & Spirits / Matanza Creek Merlot (2000)
« on: June 29, 2008, 01:16:46 PM »
Now, this wine was very very nice, could taste the oak/spice taste of a Merlot. (I hope that'd be correct) One year, my stepmom got extra gift cards for purchasing large orders, so, she gave me some. I had about $150, and was in Houston. Went to this Papa Brothers Steak House with my fiance. The food alone for the 2 of us was probably around 60-80. I got a glass of this wine, only $13/glass. Well, I used some gift cards for the grocery store to buy a bottle of this win (back in 2004) for about $45. Had it about 2-3 years before opening it and drinking it. Very nice. So, if you can find some in Ca cheaper, send it to me.  :)

Wine & Spirits / Vampire Merlot
« on: June 29, 2008, 08:44:44 AM »
I'm not sure if my inexperience wine taste thinks this is a good Merlot at a decent price ($10), but I enjoy the flavors in it. Not as much of a wine buff as I am a beer buff, but, my family likes this wine. It may be because it also has a history. There's a Renessiance Festival every year outside of Houston, goes on for about 5 weekends. This Vampire line was one that this little wine shop sells. We got a bottle the first time ($22 at freakin festival) and my mom, brother and I enjoyed it. The next year we may of had 2 bottles of it and my mom bought 5 more bottles before two weeks later finding it for $10 bucks a bottle)

Beer / Shiner Black
« on: June 29, 2008, 08:40:35 AM »
Not sure how much Shiner Bock, and the family of Shiner beers are distributed across the US. The beers themselves come from a place that's about 1 1/2 hours away from me, so of course, there's Shiner Bock, Hefeweizen, Blonde.. and one very tasty Shiner Black. A Black Bavarian Ale is how I believe it's classified, very nice flavors in it. And TM, if you like that other german one, you may actually like this as well. No it is not a stout, so it doesn't taste like guiness or other stouts with that rich coffee/creamy taste.

General Discussion / Set multiple variables at once
« on: June 12, 2008, 08:39:49 AM »
Am I the only one that wants/uses/does this?

Like, initializing variables to 0. I don't want to check for a variable by n/a. What if I ran the script, stopped it, and I'm running it again and it is holding a value? so, now I have 5 variables, I am setting to 0... I want to set them with 1 line of code, can SUO do that?

Well, done these, seen these, just missing the t-shirt. Nicar, I script semi, can code, at a 3rd grade level or higher. Played UO since about 99 or so, craft now mostly, PvP/PK was dead since AOS.  Just here for the free popcorn.
