What I don't get is why people keep clammoring for a Pirate Expansion. I haven't stepped onto a boat in years...
Not that I'm against it mind you I just wonder what a Pirate expansion would entail? New treasure Island with new Peerless monsters? Might be pretty cool...

There's a major aggressive firewall here where I'm presently at, but I SSH out an unused port and link to my server at home with VNC. I'm at work now, but actually typing from my home computer through SSH. ;)

PIRATE EXPANSION!
In a Pirate Expansion they can make looting a skill, make ships armed with cannons, place armor on your ships, purchase additional cannons, take over islands and make then un-approachable by sea. Perhaps a new building called a Fort. In addition have fishing Ships that get special bonuses for fishing and treasure hunting, but only armed with one or two cannons. Would love to have the warfare version of the game Pirates of the caribbean placed into Ultima Online!

Yeah, Hawkeye is a pretty ok guy. He has a lot of views I don't really agree with but that's his right. He does make an effort to support the game though. Which, in this day and age, doesn't happen as much as it used to.

Let it be known me buckos the sea dog who calls himself Hawkeye Pike is attempting to hornswaggle the landlubbers over yonder at stratics about how blatant scripters are and how they are destroying the game and nothing is being done. Aye mayhaps that is his perogative and he's entitled to voice his opinion even though I think it stinks. Me thinks a flogging might do the knave some good or indeed a kiss the gunner's daughter.
Me hearties I say no quarter be given to Hawkeye Pike!
