Ya, SMF is pretty nice all around. I load it up on phone using Opera and it works flawlessly. I've never been a big fan of VBulletin; it's great for mods, but I feel it's too bloated and full of security issues. With SMF, I hardly ever have to worry about spam-bots. Over the last year, I've banned 2 bots. At uocoders, we had so many I lost count.
Down the line a bit, we'll probably upgrade to version 2 of SMF, but it will probably just speed things up.
