ok
first of all, I love the script, but now that I've had a chance to test it, there are a few things I think you could improve on. first, a menu perhaps like tazzmans heartwood script that allows you to cycle through and pick the script you want to do would be nice.
also, the carpentry part of your script doesn't actually do the carpentry quest. it's doing the carpentry section of the tinker quest, which wont get you any runic saws, only recipes. I don't know if this is what you intended or not.
anyway, thanks again for the hard work. back to fletching!!!
Well the v2 version of the Quester has menus galore plus it does the tinker, bowcraft, tailoring and blacksmithing. I haven't released that one to the public other than the uocoder.com VIP section and back at winuo.org in their contributor section. This version is meant to be lean and mean.
The carpentry quest does "arch support" quest which will certainly bring in the heartwood saws. I've personally collected a couple with it and I know many others that have also collected saws with it. I was playing with it last night, so if you aren't doing the correct quest, then something is still messed up on your end.
This is a really widely released script; it was nearly 500 downloads at uocoders and was solid enough to very rarely ever cause an issue. So you should really look at your setup if you are experiencing problems.
Well, version 2, I am too lazy to set it up. Also worried about not picking up all recipes and talismans.. also, my house has about 30 secures available :( Got a nice on the fly helper for me though to do a quest (Cut both Ways) Just not automated. (Full fisher runs when i'm not home :) )
REALLY? I was that close? wow. this is really my first attempt at messing with anything like this. you know, I'd really love to learn how to script well. after playing UO for ten years, I only started using scripts about two months ago, and now my only real joy in this game is seeing how much stuff i can make my chars do without me touching the computer. silly I know.
wow. i can't believe i almost did it.
sorry i was running it in windowed mode, my mistake. just restarted my machine and it is still the same, is there anyway or me creating new rails?
AHA problem sorted, i moved my rune to 10 paces south and the script is running now, smoothly ;) thankyou for your help. im always amazed how it ends up being the simple things that need to be chaned :)
thanks
now well i have a problem here.it seems like tries to release the pet at setup and once i get around that it tries to load boards to pet and i get a message this container cannot hold more weight.and after it tries to do something like rails but it makes circles around the house instead of using sacred journey to go heartwood.its a freeshard no always run and so on.help will be appreciated.
the open backpack thing is at number 11.
umm what is the 2x or is that the v2 for quester?the one that only available for some people?

ok great ill give it a try,., im script noob but i should be able to manage...
is v2 out.. im sure u have answered this alot..
requirments for v2? have to be a script donator or make donation? just curious
*starts wondering what username TM's Mom is registered under...*
ok works great easy to inject... i pasted that over the entire paragraph of the recipes area... that shouldnt effect my runic looting should it?
Just wondering...does this quest loot the fletcher runic kits?
Well, I can only speak for myself, and I have had runs where I haven't gotten a single kit in probably a couple hundred quest iterations. Then there are times when I get 2 a day. Perhaps other people have been more lucky, but if you are looking for heartwood kits/saws in particular and are holding your breath, my advise is just start breathing normally because you are going to be questing for a VERY long time, so just breath!
If you have only been running this script for a few days, you'll just have to keep at it. I guarantee the kits will be looted, however if you are in felucca, you do have to be careful about thieves.
im using heartwood previouse version to this i put it on my other computer and now when i do quest it cycles through the quest list and when it comes to simple bows it passes right over it never clicking it.. if i click it myself i dont toggle quest items i wonder whats going on
i find the reason it skips on the Jewelry is because it is looking for more properties. And so with jewelry being able to have few properties and still be UBER it doens't pick them up.. I set mine low and have it pretty much loot everything and when my box reaches 125 items i just start organizing everything myself. Which now that i hear about a script that will scan everything in a container i might just have to use that and document my looting from heartwood.
TM I thought you told us to breathe! I got a heartwood kit yesterday. Lean, Mean, and Green runic kit!. WEWP! Beginner lucks eh'?
I must have stolen someone's mojo!
I've probably burned through 600k in board and I've gotten 3 Yew 2 Ash and 3 Oak and the heartwood! The script is dyno-mite!
Only bad news is no one can sell a darn thing with all these dupes and bannings going on lately. Everyone is afraid to buy anything.
I'm going to keep at it. It's been alot of fun using Quester and it's added to the gaming experience for sure. Huzzah!
I initially had some tooling issue but resolved them now though i do as the setup says and mark a rune a bit south of heartwood and allas the rails screw up and fail and nothing works and it does not seem to be putting any supplies on to my beatle is this normal?
My rails take me 2 step short directly south of heartwood how would i adjust the rail to fix that?
i would like to change who i do my quest with but not sure how... i have done 200k worth of wood from the tinker and barstools, but have yet to get a runic. yet i get a bunch from the fletching quest
What is it people are crafting with the heartwood saw that fetch top dollar? What items are people looking to craft once they get their hands on one?
TM yer doing it in trammel right? What quest do u do, simple bows aye?
But I need a kickass fishing pole....
But I need a kickass fishing pole....
I got one.. and some other ok ones :)
TM yer doing it in trammel right? What quest do u do, simple bows aye?
I mostly run out of Fel now. The page crews aren't bad there although I was put into jail briefly a while back. Wasn't paying attention to the screen, but I always run this attended.
Mostly I do the footstools quest just because everyone else is. However, I run my bug down to the arborist. They have only 4 quests or so; you pick up the quest faster that way. I can run through 4 loads of wood/hr.
But with the same crafter, I also do the simple bows quest. Bowcraft is fun because there's enough different quests to be able to GM your archery. I wish the same was for the carpentry. I've been stuck at 75.1 carpentry for a year now... heh
But I need a kickass fishing pole....
wow 6mil wood... i mean i haven't even got one at all not even a crappy one
I dusted off version 1.20 of the Heartwood quester with CLAw support. I'll get it ready to post this weekend.

Woohoo! This is great news! ;D
Looking forward to testing the Quester with CLAw. Then I can really look forward to the jewelry bow drops.
It would have come in hella handy during the spring clean up period. I often wonder how many 250pt talismans I threw in the trash. :'(
Got it working after following the directions properly ;)
How difficult is it do change the quester to do smithing quests or tailor quests?
I need Overseer Sundered Recipe and some runic kits to craft some armor for my DreadHorn suit.
I need to create a new rail and then enter some magic numbers?
If I could start to do some of the other quests in Heartwood I would be a very jolly fellow.
So far using the quester has been a real treat.
Having a small problem with the sub to recall from home to heartwood.
UO crashes everytime on recall.
I'm on a OSI Production shard. The script will recall in the first time with no problem, do the quests til empty then recall home with no problem as well. The UO crash comes after it restocks and sets the new default rune then recalls. It shows me still at home, however, when I log back in, it shows me south of the portal. Could there be a timing issue between the casting of recall and the setting of the default rune?
Where would I put a slightly longer pause?
sampleclawsetup.txt is definitely the one you need to use for starters. Be sure to put it in the same directory as your other scripts. i.e. no c:\. (check your spelling, you have it backwards..)
Look at the directions again:
1) Open and run the CLAw
2) Load the sampleclawsetup.txt with the CLAw ("Load Setup" button)
3) Open and run the quester.
Are you making sure you are running the CLAw in another tab of the same EasyUO instance? You can't run the CLAw in it's own EasyUO, it can't communicate with the quester then.

Yes, another tab. But, I am using the claw lite. I assume that would make a difference? If so, where would one get the full claw? Not sure if thats the issue though since I also get the cant find the rail tool error too if I skip over the claw part.
i just took a look at this script for the first time in a while...
"; v1.13 - Switch back to key ESC to fix bugged cursor. Thanks Mystre!"
haha that was me :P i feel so helpful! LoL
I just got the newest version up and running... works flawlessly from what i can tell thus far... slower than my modded SM quester but i guess its a toss up speed or stability ;) leme know if you need testers for this or any of your other stuff.
Some other ideas for V2.0
1. utilize send mail... i have this is my modded SM quester, nice to get a txt when i get a yew or hw i also want to incorporate a status update via txt in my moded version since i am not home all day to watch it.. or maybe just a con lost or crash trigger
2. rails... the work great but man in stinks to have my mouse in the middle of the uo screen, i use the MOVE command in my modded version rather than pathfinding, this isnt as reliable but i can literally just have the quest offer portion of uo visible and use my pc as normal otherwise. maybe another option or a hybrid version?
3. beetle feeding, using time to feed beetle every so often? 5 hours maybe? a check to see if since last fed greater than time allot at wood refill? i think we talked about it b4
4. i like status on the uo title... area, time running, kits, quests done etc. (just a suggestion on the menu :P)
over all nice work man!! just some feature suggestions :

I'm not sure what's wrong otherwise; I was just using this for testing the other day with the CLAw Lite. You'll just have to be sure to carefully follow the setup instructions; they seem to work OK. Otherwise you might try and explain anything else you might be doing and your general setup. Also, have you gotten the older version of the Quester running?
i'm playing in a free shard, the script can run?
Dessin, where did you put the tool_railengine30k.txt file?
In the same folder as the other scripts, which is the same folder as my easyuo exe file.

Ok, you got me. Sounds like there's something really basic wrong, but for the life of me I can't think of what that might be. What's operating system are you using?
Even stranger. Normally, some people have issues with Vista and some scripts. Is there anything else that you might consider "different" about your rig?
No sir. Nothing comes to mind. That's not to say there isn't anything that I could be missing. Something is going on and it seems pretty much confined to me and my little laptop. But everything else seems to work fine. I can use CLAw lite without any problems. I can't run the tool_rail engine thingie directly but I am not sure if you are supposed to be able to. When I open it up and press play it just does nothing. But, the quester closes me out before I even get to that point.
set %railsubs c:\myeasyuolocation\tool_railengine30k.txt

The rail engine is made to be either called or run directly.
For the purposes of the Quester, the rail engine is Called, so you shouldn't even have it in a tab, but it sounds like you know that already. ;)
Judging from your first post, did you get a message like:
"Cannot locate tool_railengine30k.txt" ?
You might want to check and see what the system variable #CURPATH says. Right now I just assume that this is correct, but there might be something strange going on where this is corrupted for you. Make sure this value matches the value of where your EUO is located. If not then you might have to change the variable %railsubs to have to whole path to the rail file, i.e.:Code: [Select]set %railsubs c:\myeasyuolocation\tool_railengine30k.txt
Are you running EasyUO with a user that has supervisor privileges? Just a shot in the dark..
Well, this will be one of those little issues that I'll add to the list of prerequisites. Hope that was it; started sounding kinda OS related. heh.
Its something I am sure. What, I don't know, heh. i rebooted and was able to use the organizer again. But, still no Quester. And now the CLAw just does nothing when I click play on it. I am going backwards! Not fun. Is there an older CLAw available that I can try out to see if I can at least get that working again? I can stomach another quest script even though it would be nowhere as helpful as yours. But I have come to rely on the CLAw and losing it makes my tummy not happy.
what do i need to do to gain access to the uoquester?Your a new user, you might start by reading everything you can about being a new user.
Is there a way to fix that script to make just lethal darts quest ? Like we may have too many bolts in our house storage and it may refill from there just select bolts and finish this quest?
Thanks.
just an update on my status. the script works great id say off of about 200k boards i have gotten 10 oaks 5 ash 2 yew and 1 heartwood runic. i never have anyproblems except every now and then the scripts gets stuck on making tinker tools, probly just local lag. other then that great script. oh make sure you dont do what i did and put the runics in the top secure thinking that your gonna save them there. my script ate up my yew runic that way lol
You only have 1 post, are you sure your running the latest version?
i have 1.15 version (uocoder's version XD) but following the Revision History, nothing should be modified...
set %CONTEXT_Toggle_Quest_Item 3603586
set %QUEST_A_Simple_Bow 6641256
set %QUEST_Arch_Support 5963096
what do the numbers mean? are they pixel cords for the individual quests?I'm not sure...Since the bow part takes between 2 1/2 and 3 mins to go through, I don't think there is a timer on it.. But I will see.. :)
Thanks for the reply...
Coy
I was wondering, how hard would it be to change the rail to go to the other arch support quest. I was getting more saws on that one. Not sure if it was just luck or not. But in the time I received zero yesterday I had 3 on the other quest. Might just be me or do you think I just had a really crappy night :-p
Decided to do fletching over besides or Carp and on the first bag I landed a runic :) and on the second trip I landed a Heartwood. So happy :)
Everything in this script works perfect for me except when it tries to toggle quest items. Not the actually targeting ot the items, but the selecting "toggle quest item" from the gump. Any idea what could be causing this? I'm not running assist or razor, smallest game window resolution. I'm stumped ???

sry guys hi, osi shard i have read the and checked off the requierments they all check out but it still fails to run the rail into heartwood for either the fletching or carp quest. it just says rail error after i port next to the gate. i am just south of the gate so i know thats not it.
they r all in the same file as the euox.exe fileDunno then. You'll just have to play with it; things still work fine over here, so it's gotta be something amiss with your setup.
are you on an osi shard?
i am porting in were everyone else is it does not call the bowcraft script. ive even forced my guy to walk to the fletchers station he does the quests and when he runs out of boards he mounts and does not run the rail out of heartwood. either runnig the rail into or out of heartwood i get the rail error.
Imho, we are lucky trailmyx didnt get the script for himself, he would be pretty rich by now :).
Oooooohhhhhh..... he gotta snarley from TM! :o
I can't even remember the last snarley TM gave out.... :-\
Please post your comments/questions HERE (http://www.scriptuo.com/smf/index.php?topic=176.0). Please do not PM me
Then the old girldfriend wouldn't interrupt my scripting routines. ;D
I have on last question, BMitemeval numbers what do they mean, defult is 26, if i go lower does that mean better loot or worse? Also will the itemeval itself pick out good jewlry and bows of do i need claw running for that.

It uses BMEval for loot evaluation. So that will loot the goodies, but the quester itself loots the heartwoods. All loot is placed into your secure when you go back for wood.
Remember this script doesn't work very well on freeshards....

Figured out the problem. When they fixed the system, they reinstalled Vista and the default display setting were reset to 16 bit. Didn't even think the check that since I had been running the program just fine prior to taking it in for repairs.
I am New to the whole script process, Does this work good? and if i leave it running what are the chances its going to pick up the kits?
works great with my lj script

Your rail problems are exactly why I didn't want to support it. ;)
Just about anyone can implement their server-side code for Mondain's Legacy, and chances are EVERYONE will be different. There's really where you will be on your own. Sorry.
ouch... Community Service on the first day
There is a bug where if you get:
The quest down in heart wood:
Glassy Foe - Ryal
Dust to Dust - Aniel
Circle of Life - Mielani
i read through everything and i do have my video card set to 32 bit but its still doing the same thing wont choose the quest just keeps going through them
Does this bug still work? Tried it and it didnt notice a difference, still scrolls through multiple quests half the time before it gets to the arch support.
Hey now Kham!!!!!!!!!!
Talk like a Pirate day isn't until Sept 19th!
Lets be watching it there Matey!

ok thanks for all your help im sure i will figure it out eventually
Well, before you can get it you need to follow the board rules..you can find them posted here:

TM, ever have this problem...any time I manage to get a runic, the script stops. It st6ill says its running, but absolutly nothing happens. Char will not go on making x-bows, so I have to stop the script (both CLAw, and 2.0) and restart them. I have tried turning the ringer off to see if that did anything, but it doesn't.

hmm is there anyway to get this to run from a bank box. Is it a diferent rail or anything? or is it within the script?

Not sure if this was answered yet, but there is a pause in the script at or about the location where it tries to determine if you want to insure the runic. Not sure which version either, sorry it's vague, but I recall the issue.
i have this script already but when i run it it takes me to the quest area hops off the beetle makes 10 bows and when it goes to accept the quest it just keeps cycleing through the diffrent quests and does nothing else can anyone give me a hand here im not all that great with script.
thanks.
Restriction removed, now get rid of that version of the quester you have and get this one. Read through the config and double check your setup, then get it rolling. It should work just fine for you but if you have any issues just ask away.
i have gone in and check my resolution it is set 32 im not sure what the ocr is. I've ran it with razor and with out it and it is still doin the same thing :'(
im not a retard it just doesnt work for me...

That's how you respond to people trying to help you? Welcome back to Restricted.
Nah, have a few days away to think about it as well.... I'll await your response upon your return.
Zagro - you have two posts, both in the quester thread. You have failed to read the SITE RULES (http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?board=55.0) to find out how to gain full access including downloading of script.
Once you comply with this simple task, it's very likely that your "restricted" status will be removed and you will have full access to the site.
Refreshing to have someone new post "hey, this works great".
Thanks, please refer to our new user guide found HERE (http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?board=55.0) so you can get access to the latest version.
Uhmm... my G15.... well... see it's like this....Well I've never used this script so I'll have to read about it and probably run it.
Remember when my wife spilled coffee into my old V1 style G15? And I went out and got the new V2 of the G15?? Yeah... seems they aren't water proof either.
Logitech POS keyboard FTL :(
I'll prolly pick up my THIRD G15 this weekend. And I put up a NO FOOD OR DRINK sign on my desk.
Thank you for updating!
Yes thanks for the update.!!
Okay I've gotten so frustrated I'm about to just give up.
This script keeps on making smoothing planes even though I've chosen Fletching quest.
I'm about sick to death of that damn window telling me I don't have enough wood.......
Reboot fixed all.If only life's problems were that simple.

great work
And just think, it will be even better when you can use it!!! You might try going to the site rules...giving them a read, then head on over to the new member board and posting up a intro.Okay that does need to be a macro TT. It's funny how many people love a script that they don't have yet.

I try and not move containers around. I started out my public scripting career with people bitching about me moving their containers/gumps around, so never again. Just make sure the text is visible.
Side note: It never does move it around for me; so there might be script interactions or you are doing somethings else like surfing on the computer at the same time. Clicks in EUO can be deadly if you are clicking on the screen at nearly the same time as the script is trying to click. This is the single biggest reason you should be using a virtual machine.
At least you can mod it to your liking. I got scolded pretty hard early on in the questers life, so I just leave them gumps alone. :)Jeez you make something so awesome as this and people bitch about moving gumps???? You need to whack em!

Very useful script :)Grrrrrr
Ok im new and dont get this working. I have all the files that is needed. i did make the rail. so now i have all the files in same directory with easyuo exe. I open all the files that is included. when i have toggled my beetle and its start taking the stuff to the secure box. it just keeps running around my house? so whats wrong with this?Sounds to me like your runebook is not setup correctly. Also you dont use razor or UOA right?
has the script been upgraded for the new SA client? it seems that it stopped working with the whole new gump system.
this is the greatest script ever

hi there, may I ask how to change the railing script when we are leaving heartwood to run instead of walking slowly back home? because I know we have to walk slow when we come due to beetle's weight, but can we run back home? Was wondering if someone can help me with that please?... can save a bit of time :P hehe thanks in advance. good day.
Updated to 1.18
New to version 1.18:
- Fixed creation of tinker's tools when you have none.
Can I get added to the site so I can try this script out? I had the old version but now it doesn't select the quest... hope this one fixes that?

Not till you obey the rules of this site. Three posts and two of them are wanting stuff...
It's NOT THAT DIFFICULT! Read the rules, follow the rules, and yes, you can have this script.
Fail that, and feel the hammer.
Well the setup was easy and it got my char to heartwood but when he started moving it said my mount is too fatigued. I have a beetle... any suggestions? Thank you
do you have your char set to run always? if not let it sit there a min and it will take off again.
Shh it's the new and improved version of TT.do you have your char set to run always? if not let it sit there a min and it will take off again.
That's TWICE! Someone is slipping TT valium in the ol' morning coffee!

Thanks for this script and site.

I have been looking for this script for quite some time. But not able to find the download for it.

Man i wanna download this pls, thst great, but i cant script at allLMAO going back through the posts and i cant help but laugh at people who take no time to read just gimme gimme gimme lol i know i suck but jeez i feel like im pimpin around these folks :'(
Actually I meant to un-restrict him, but kept forgetting. That's the power of a GREAT intro; 2 minutes to restriction lifting with those.... FYI. Recent introduction posts have been lacking greatly...
With that latest changes to OSI and the quest gump, chances are this won't work on freeshards EVER. I doubt freeshard admins will try and match the gumps pixed/pixel just to make scripters happy. ;)
I would like to try that script... but i am not allowed
Probably a waste of time. There's a few changes that make it different unless you are a seasoned scripter to compensate for your particular shard.
Hello, just try to use "Quest Item" for marking bolts and than run the script...

i'm really happy to find this scrpit. thx for you :D
Some people have issues with video drivers and other strange things. You may be one of the few that just are doomed to not run the quester, so I hope you figure it out.
The issue is just
From the 10.th of may 2010, was all updates of EUO 1.5 stopped. They switch to a new client, and a new language (LUA) that new client do not read the old script language. So there is no patching in the future.
What if you could have both, of course in a perfect world. Faster Speed and 100% Compatibility now that would amazing
help me pls :(
thx!!!!!!
hehe You will? I don't know... might be kinda hard for you... Keep trying tho!bahahaha, i lol'd when i read that
??? wow!really work this script?i go to download and test it,Thank you!!!!
seems to be a very good sctipt, checked the code and looks fine. After using it i'll give my recomendation

Gracias por el script desde chile pucha que es util
Hi, is very good script!
I cant dowload this macro!!
works on freeshard?
thank you for share this
it's nice and useful
i love the script, i've been using the old craftmatic script, and to not have to sit and load and reload the beetle is a nice feature. however, it always wants to try and run when i'm fully loaded along the rail. in my options always run is NOT checked, i tried looking through your rail engine to see if there was a place to force a walk in like you can with ceokey on the railrunner script but i didn't see it. I'm no scripting genius, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Requirements:
Please check these off before you request help on the forum
- [ ] - You are running on OSI This script most likely will not work on your Freeshard
- [ ] - Tamed and bonded beetle (bonded not really required, but nice when beetle dies)
- [ ] - Raw Ribs if you would like your beetle fed at the beginning of script execution.
- [ ] - Runebook with at least 3 runes marked. (Home secure, heartwood, logout) Does not support bank secure!!
- [ ] - Lootbag in your main pack. Please make sure this is a different container (big bag) than the bags dropped by the quest reward bag. You run the risk of trashing your loot otherwise.
- [ ] - Loot bag in your home secure MAIN LEVEL (when working from home secure)
- [ ] - Runebook in your main pack
- [ ] - All resources (boards, ingots, tinkering tools, carpentry tools) placed in the main level of your secure container and not in a bag.
- [ ] - Tinkering skill sufficent to make tinker tools and crafting tools
- [ ] - No tinkering?, then enough tinker tools and crafting tools in your home secure (tinker tools and joining planes, lots...)
- [ ] - KEEP UO screen uncovered. This is so the OCR can see the quest (you can still use powersaver, but do NOT use a screensaver, or coverup the UO window)
- [ ] - Rail engine requires that you not move the mouse during rail runs. Otherwise this will mess up your movement while riding a loaded beetle. Dedicate your computer to running this script by either just leaving it alone or running the UO session in a VM (virtual machine instance)
- [ ] - 32-bit video card setup, will not function at 16-bits or 8-bits.
- [ ] - Make sure you have placed all files (quester, looter, rail engine, rails, evaluator) in the same directory as your EasyUO executable. <-- Important!!
- [ ] - Do not run this quester in full screen mode or the OCR functions will not work properly.
- [ ] - Do not run UO Assist or Razor with this script!!
- [ ] - Be sure to have your rune marked SOUTH a few steps of the gate, otherwise you may accidentally enter the portal before the rail engine is ready. (thanks marina)
- [ ] - Be sure you remember to download the rail engine from the link supplied below
- [ ] - Be sure you do not have Always Run selected. You will need to walk with a loaded beetle.
A big thanks to Bad_Maniac (http://www.easyuo.com/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1432) and Machine (http://www.easyuo.com/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=137201) for some of their work included in this script.
Please post your comments/questions HERE (http://www.scriptuo.com/smf/index.php?topic=176.0). Please do not PM me
Please note that you will also have to download the Rail Engine (http://www.scriptuo.com/smf/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=16.0;attach=6) with the rest of the files attached.

It's a bit more difficult that one post to download. Not all forums are created equal. :)
Take a look at the rules section to see what you need. You're right, you need a post - but a "special" post. heh

The thread goes nearly 7 months without a post. Then we get a gem. Love it.
What shard are you running on? If you're on OSI, then just make sure you don't already have the quest selected (cancel it). If you are on a freeshard, then it might not be possible to get it to run because some shards have the quest text in a different location. It's a freeshard. Is there a way I could find the position of quest's text (numbahs) and put it into the script?

Great Script!
Great Script!
Wow, posted right under my post in which I directed another restricted member on how to get unrestricted. I guess most hope that responding like they can actually see and test out the script is a sure fire way to make it suddenly appear. Reading is your friend!

Running this script now (actually had this script back in 2007 so i'm pretty familiar with it, just been a LONG time since i've used it) and have come across two issues so far, not sure if its my fault or what but:
1) once it gets into hardwood it tries to run (yes, I have the box unchecked for "always run")
2) once I get my character to the quest giver, the one for carpentry... it won't select the quest (arch support) but if I select it by hand it'll toggle quest items successfully, but then will not "continue" and turn in the quest items automatically

On line 88 of the HW quester, just change the line from this:Code: easyuo
set %railsubs tool_railengine30k.txt
to thisCode: easyuo
set %railsubs tool_railengine30l.txt
Then just make sure the file "tool_railengine30l.txt" is located in your HW directory.
Did you download the rails hw_trinket.txt and hw_bowcraft.txt to the same directory as the rail engine and your HW quester?
If so, you might not be close enough to the Heartwood sparkle entrance. If you're playing on a freeshard, the entrance to Heartwood might be different and you might not be able to use this script without some extra modification.
Best to try a different bank location. Some bankers aren't human, so that will confuse the script. But you do need to be relatively close to them so they can "hear" you yell BANK.
Are you using this on Broadsword or a freeshard?
