« on: December 21, 2009, 11:24:36 AM »I think it's anything that needs to be subdued, or anything that has an anger cycle.I'll tame some pets for a bit and do some before and afters so we can see what changes happen upon taming.
Greater Dragons, Dragons, Night Mares, Hiryus, Lesser Hiryu, Rune Beetles, Bake Kitsune, White Wyrms, Giant Beetle, Ice Worm, Swamp Dragon, Fire Beetle, Fire Steed.
And... I'm not sure which ones get their Dex halved, maybe all?

« on: December 21, 2009, 07:52:40 AM »Nice Cu scores. I'm serious about higher resists being the key to a pets survivability.Used it to upgrade my Rune Beetle and my Nightmare to higher score pets.
I have a couple issues I want to deal with on this script.
Tame vs Wild
And Invalid Target. If you target something not on the list you can get a bunch of gumps and the script quits. Closing those gumps can be deadly if your target is attacking you

In view of the post you made about pet survivability I tamed a CU last night that was in the 97% stat and 95% resist ranges.
I'm going to try to find a good greater dragon as well if I can get some help with the taming. I need some one to chain invis me.

« on: December 19, 2009, 09:11:16 PM »I added a Lite version that only does Stats and Resists.Hey Cerveza can we just double the stat % for tame pets to compare with wild animals?
Much quicker for doing those aggressive monsters.
Feedback is encouraged.

I got a repeating crossbow wth 50 SSI from loot on either a level 6 map or from a paragon Serpentine Dragon. I can't be sure which one because I was throwing all the loot that night into a container and it was there when I sorted it out later. Either the Tamer or the T-mapper threw it in there.
I used it to train archery on a couple toons on Lake Superior.
I've never gotten more than 30 SSI when using a runic to craft bows.

« on: December 04, 2009, 09:45:45 AM »Yeah I've got lots of those from the level 6 treasure chest. I went down there last night and spent some time with the Lute. I managed to pop 6 paragon Balrons and the discord wouldn't take on 2 of them in the first 4 attempts and the dragon went down.Yep I've got discord and they are still tough on fresh tamed pets even when they are discorded. Some of those Paragons are hard enough to hit at 160 Barding that the pet is dead before you get the discord to stick. Once I get the pet built up a bit it's farm city there.
Get that white lute, the undead deamon slayer...forgot the name.
My tamer has 120 music and 120 discord with a slayer instrument. I should have been able to make it stick but the RNG hates me.
