I'm a long time fan of UO. I started a long time ago back in 98 and have been on and off since with OSI. Soon after moving around the country I found myself coming back to the game like some kind of drug ridden person looking for a quick fix. I cant imagine what I would do with myself in off time without UO.
Currently I play on Europa. Why? Well I have a few friends there that seem to care more about helping others than on most shards I have played in. More of a friendly atmosphere lately after the continuing fall of players across the board. I have tried other clone server but they never felt like official servers with making things too easy. I got bored fast without official servers. I did use to frequent Atlantic at one time many years ago before I left the game, only to return seeking talkative friendly going people.
I mainly like to play building, constructive types of characters. like crafting and such, but have found myself recently trying to get into more of a fighting stance for the benefit of my org. Hopefully I can make them proud one day when I learn all I need to stand up for myself in battle.
Life has been a bit of a pickle lately and one of the reasons why I come back is just the same. I have cancer, in remission at the moment but lately I have a lot of time when not with my children and wife. I try and step back for a moment and not take things so seriously while in the game. This seems to have helped a great deal lately.
Well I hope this is a bit better an introduction than before, as I am a lazy mf with not much of a passion for writing, or English for that matter.
