Oh hey! I remember that website! I used to hang out there when I was younger.

Yeah I was thinking about doing something similar to that for backpacks and corpses.

Two things Kalaka (besides a Great Job!)

#1. In past field hacks, I've seen them use blue instead of white for para fields (that way they can be seen on all surfaces)

#2. Not sure what program you're using to make a patcher, but in mine, I used to make a folder called BACKUPS in their UO folder and copy the current files into that folder before copying in the new ones and overwriting them

2. No idea how. What I'm using just creates a basic patcher for the files I changed, and patches them to the files in the UO folder.

Are you using the mulpatcher to patch?

Don't think so. Posting it now. Will gladly change how it's patched though once I/we got a better way.

Here are the fields that I use, I forgot where I got them from. I will also include the .bmp I use to make items (such as roofs and the leafy parts of trees) invisible.
Poison Field
Para Field
Fire Field
Energy Field
Invis

Yeah pure black for those kinda things = invis. Black is what I used on the fields.

The teleporter style tiles are what was used before, but I like this better. If people overwhelmingly want those though, then no biggie they can easily be put in, as you know.

Other ideas? Ship keys? Other containers? I think this is a good start.

Gimlet, I have thought about a lot of these types of things. I plan to make a thread here maybe tomorrow or the next day and just have people up/down various changes. There's quite a few things I wouldn't mind putting in, and would like to have, but I don't want to overdo it for people who wouldn't want a lot of things such as transparent roofs, the sails, dragons into something else, etc.

Right now it's pretty basic and has some nice features, but it's just where do I/we want to expand on it I'm not sure yet.

I think you are wise - start slow and add only what seems to right and needed to you.
