That's it folks...
Does reforged items always equal crap durability?
Is there ever good durability on this stuff?
-
Aren't you supposed to POF it up first, or is that imbuing?
-
You can PoF after reforging
-
Are you talking about the Brittle characteristic?
-
Ah - that must be what he means. Yeah - you need to avoid 'Brittle' and 'Cannot be repaired'. I find reforging is only really good at the 'Minor' level to generate 40% SSI bows, for example, that I can boost to 50%.
Far better off farming Shame for amazing uncursed artifacts...or so I've been told...
;)
-
Yeah, stop anything more than powerful reforging and the artifice potions.
-
I've made some "cannot be repaired" stuff for mules and such. I've even consider if for a tamers or a straight PvP guy as you don't have to repair stuff often if he's not getting hit lots. PvM is clearly different but that extra bump can produce some amazing items.

oh... maybe i flaked and thought that i tried to powder before imbuing one more attribute. good to know that you can make then powder then imbue/ enhance

I think you can only do so much before POFing. - If you get a brittle item, you cannot POF.

I've made a couple PVP suits for lesser-used characters with the Cannot Be Repaired property, meant that I could use Spined kits to reforge instead of the more expensive Horned or Barbed. If you select both CBR options the item has a base of 200 durability, which isn't too shabby and should last a goodish while :)
