I recorded it as well.. but then couldn't wait and wound up staying up ridiculously late to watch it.

I think it was a rough start, but the series preview at the end shows a plot-line I could fall in love with.

Totally agree the language is harsh on AHS. I always kind of felt the same with Jamie Brewer's characters on the series. However, I do love that the show actually does incorporate as many real people with these 'disabilities' as they can.

Cant wait to see where the show takes us with the spoiled rich-boy.

I can totally understand that C:
Although I do believe you can hotkey the inversion on and off. But again, totally understand not wanting the hassle.

on-topic, though: The one feature I find incredibly awesome, is the ability to load your own custom art for crests on armor/sails/house deco, etc. The process doesnt seem too uber difficult either, and everything is available in-game (opposed to only p2p).

Yeah, it took me a bit to get used to the controls, as I dont really play many 1st person games on pc anyway, 'cept Skyrim, but that was over a year ago..

Really though, the controls are quite messed by default. Having to rightclick+drag to change camera  angle O_o"

Anyone in this game as well?

I played for about a week and a half, but even after they fixed the totally F'd up queue situation, I started getting kicked every 20-30 minutes.  >_<

I'ma check it out again later, but I've decided I'm going to let it get worked out for a while 1st.

Anyone looking forward to Freak Show?

I've been sitting on my hands for weeks. ;D

Also, I cant believe anyone would NOT want to see AHS. While its not super artful nor High-brow, I freakin love it!
Sure there's plot holes all over the place, and total misrepresentation of tons of historical figures and belief systems... But it makes 1 darn good guilty pleasure XD
Plus, Jessica Lange! ♥ She's awesome. And the architecture and design was beautiful in Coven!

*Gim wonders if you can make Triple Berry Crisp without all the sugar?*

10 months later... :P
You can, but along with the sweetening aspect, the sugar is structural and without it your crisp part will be much less crisp. It will be a lot drier and powdery. But it certainly is possible C:

Receipes / Re: Taqueria Burrito/Tacos?

Sorry for necro-ing, but I am brand new here, and love cooking... which means I'm probably going to be necro-diving through a lot of posts in this sub-forum.

On-topic: Unfortunately, its very hard to replicate taqueria flavors at home. The kind of gross, but real truth, is that a TON of the flavor comes from well-seasoned flat-tops and/or pans from years of meat being cooked on it in high volume. Not to mention the recycled lard from making carnitas.

Now, what you can do to get as close as possible, is make sure you've got some color on your meat! So many home-cooks wind up steaming their taco meat because they just want to quickly cook it and be done with it. As soon as its not pink, even though it's still swimming in juice, they add their seasoning and call it a day. No bueno. You need to cook all the extra water off, and get that meat caramelized! Add some diced onion and cilantro, el pato, or make your own salsa, and a squeeze of lime. Good to go.  8)

I'm always horrible at introductions, so please bear with me  :)

I started playing UO when I was about 11. It was just by chance that I picked it up at Staples, as I had never heard of it before, and pretty much only grabbed it because it was discounted down to $9 (and my aunt was very frugal, but always took me out to purchase a small something when she visited). It was the Third Dawn installment, and had already been out for quite a bit I think.
I was amazed once I read the booklet, that I would be able to play with others, ONLINE! Lol, I had never heard of this before, as I was pretty much entirely a console gamer (besides the occasional 1v1 battles of Warcraft with my uncle).

Once I was able to get my connections all sorted, and after a couple phone calls to tech support with my dad, I was finally in. I remember having so much fun, literally just walking around the towns. Seeing all these people talking. I probably only killed about 30 mobs my 1st month, I was so addicted to just chatting with other people in a game.

The 30 days came and went (or maybe it was 45?) and I was able to coax my parents into keeping an active subscription for me.
After a couple months a new something or other came out... probably for playstation, and I kind of lost interest in UO. Honestly, I really wasnt mature enough to take advantage of all of UO's features anyhow.

5 years passed, and one night when I got home, my dad sat me down and laughingly said, "Well, do you think we can cancel this subscription?" with a copy of his statement.
Lol, he had been paying the sub the whole time, and I had long forgotten about the game.
He canceled it, but  then it was fresh in my mind, and every once in a while I would think about joining again.

I did wind up making a new account a couple times over the next couple years, but by then I had recently started college, and working, and would only get a month here and there to play. Which actually was more like 30 minutes every 3rd or 4th day.

Finally done with my 'hard classes,' and only working part-time, so I've been able to re-dive into the game. And thanks to the RTB, was able to find and check on my old 5 year account with all my vet rewards XD.
The last 2 months have been the most fun I've had playing a game. I know the graphics are incredibly old, but I honestly love UO. The amazingly long history of it, and crazy amount of customization. Its awesome.

Anyhow, after that long-winded bio/my history with UO, The reason I'm here and would like to join this community, is now that I've spent the last 2 months playing and leveling characters on a new account, I'd really like to ease the training up of some new chars on my 'vet' account I just re-found.
And while I found both this site, and EUO... I noticed most of EUO's stuff is from <2008.. lol.

That, and while I'm certainly not asking to be included in the Elite's, I find the fact that there is the possibility for active and highly supportive members to attain that and gain access to even awesome-r scripts.. well, awesome.  :P      (This is also not meant to be a "hint" re: the Elite membership.. I truly do simply feel its public existence to be awesome *nods* )

As for my in-game info. The bulk of my account is on Pacific, but I have dabbled on Atlantic and Siege. I supremely enjoy the crafting classes, and am still playing around with mage builds on my secondary chars. I spent a good portion of my summer break scouring through uoguide and stratics, trying to absorb as much background and base knowledge as I can. So I'm pretty good on 'theory' and now just need to work on 'practice'.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! I look forward to getting to know you all, and getting to start scouring for even more info here C:
