can someone plz make a simple sand miner...... would so love to see one now that sand is in demand......I like making my own bottles and stuff but now others might like a sand miner just like me..........Thanks Kandie :angel:.

guess I should explain what I would like. Be able to use a rune book to recall to spots to mine sand, and when full recall either home to a secure or to the bank. Kinda like the mining for ore scripts. right now am using one from easyuo, but its not all that great, but is better then nothing.. Thanks again, and I appreciate all the hard work you guys put into these scripts we use. Love ya all :-*

also a good place to mine for sand is Isle of Fire,outside by the SA Enterence

Any of the mining scripts should work, just mark books with sand spots only. There is no reason to write a script only for mining sand.

I marked runes on sand , started a mining script but all it does is just recall from spot to spot, so that didn't work :( Kandie

If it has been a long time since you have mined, you may need to replace the mul files.

and you might have to get the mining book from the royal city and set the shovel to mine sand

I have been mining everyday and have no issues......plus u can't set shovel for sand, no such choice. so I dunno how to fix this. thx for quick response :angel: Kandie

Please note:
"In order to learn how to mine for sand, a GM Miner must read the book Small open book east.png Find Glass-Quality Sand. The ability does not cost any skill points, and has no effect on the skill cap. The book can be bought from the Gargoyle Alchemist NPC located in the alchemy shop in the Royal City in Ter Mur. The book costs 10,637 gold and is consumed once read. "

yes I know I have read the book. What I would like is a script to mine sand. I can do it manually. But would be great if somehow I could make one of the mining scripts mine sand. But I am not very smart in changing scripts. I can do very little in that field. I mostly do trade skill stuff and fishing. So any little help in doing this so I don't have to click my life away would be awesome. I am using one now from easyuo, but my char gets hung up in buildings or blocked by mountains. so I am always stopping it and starting it. Its better then nothing, was juts a thought maybe others like myself could use a sand mining script. :angel: Thx Kandie

Most of the script are not build to dig sand. it a small mod that you can do.
search for tilename
look for something like this
if Rock in #tilename || Cave in #tilename
and add the sand like this
if Rock in #tilename || Cave in #tilename || Sand in #tilename
if you look at , you only need to do it at two location. and it easy setup at well.

scrip not working will not mine sand just does recall to sand and stands there

What about your mul files? Like I said, I just tried it out before linking it in the chatbox for Kandie and I believe that she is currently using it as well. Did you read the book to be able to mine sand?
