Ok, I went to this one with VERY LOW EXPECTATIONS.  I'm not a Robert Downey Jr. fan whatsoever, so my expectations where extra low for this.  However, I came out of the movie nearly in shock because the whole experience was way above my expectations.   RDJ was excell...  excel.... exce..., ugh I can't say it.  He was pretty good.

The movie itself was very well put together and there was enough special effects to keep the WoW-going crowd happy.  Overall, it was a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

I completely agree.  I believed that it would be alright, but the movie turned out to be real good in my opinion.  I think RDJ did end up nailing the character.  They didn't stray far either.  So it was a nice change from the crap marvel movies they've been producing like spiderman and especially x-men 3
