yes quite interesting, but before i would spend the time and effort on the shard I would need to see some daily stats on atleast the top 20 persons on the shard money wize (this would make it more ineteresting so you know who needs to die) or it could just be them picking whoever they wished.

On the other hand, with guards shut off everywhere..

You could just train up and wait til the last day, kill everyone that tries to go wherever he is to hand checks over.  That might be rather fun. :)

I wonder if they left in any of the old gold making methods that OSi took out...hmm...

Have to check their rule set.  Not sure if they even have stealth.

Except that people would know where you are:

(3) All players that are online are virtually always on the Fight Broker (The Fight Broker announces player locations when asked.)

So put in a randomized rune seller recall routine.  Let's see them find you at 64+ different locations fast enough to get the kill....

That would work and would also pay for my OSI UO account for atleast 2 months.

Here was the results from their weekend:

Quote from: Adam Ant
As you may have guessed HardCore and team Kal In Ex took first prize with 213,000 gold collected!

Second place goes to Einar with 27,750 gold collected.

And Third place goes to Vish (orcs) with 7,001 gold collected.

Congratulation to all that played.

We'll be running the Survivor Week again in a couple weeks, so get organized! (I'm talking to you orcs!)

As usual, there will be another $100 prize for the winner. Watch for details.

Until then feel free to come play the Mortalis server. Any characters or possessions on that server well be saved and restored before and after the event so your investment is safe!

Got an afternoon to kill? ;)

Come play Mortalis!

Until next time,

Adam Ant

PS. While we prepare for the next Survivor week, we will be making a few to tweaks to the server to better serve the 'mortal only' shard model.

I might have to enter, too.  Depending on the ruleset, I'm pretty sure I can do better than 250K in week...

(3) one account logged in from an IP address

Yep, took me all of 30 seconds to break that restriction.  I hereby disqualify myself from competition.

That's sort of clunky.  I took a different approach entirely, 'cause I prefer to control all my toons from the same laptop  8)
