I've tried uploading my profile picture a few times now, and all that shows up is a red X.  Does this feature not work?

Also not the size limitations, etc. Some will simply not work.

Sometimes its a file format issue, corruption, or some other.  There is a size limitation but I can't remember what I have that set to.  It's pretty generous though because we like having interesting animated gifs here.

I've found that about half of the gif's I attempt to use for my profile end up failing even when within the size limitations, never have figure it out. I just end up moving on and looking for something that will work.

It appears that in my case, it was a file size issue, got it working now.
