Title: Modded Controller
Post by: Cerveza on October 22, 2010, 10:19:59 AM
My son wants a modded controller for x-mas... He plays COD/MW2 and Gears of War 2 mostly.

I thinking about THIS ONE (http://www.gamermodz.com/GamerModz--SPS-X2-Dual-Stealth-Shot-Per-Second-Adjustable-Universal-Rapid-Fire/productinfo/SPSX2ADJ/). It doesn't have the standard 5 or 6 settings for games, instead you can set the Shots Per Second on each trigger.

It sux for changing weapons, but it's great for flexibility.

Anyone know about modded controllers? Use one?

I've looked at a bunch and I'm pretty sold on this one (http://www.gamermodz.com/GamerModz--SPS---X3-The-Worlds-Most-Advanced-Rapid-Fire/productinfo/SPSX3ADJ/).

I was actually going to get the SPS-X2 and now they go and release the X3 version. It adds in 5 presets. So you can set the "shots per second" (sps) for 5 different levels so you can quickly switch between them.

They also have a "burst" now that can be set in conjunction with the sps. So you can have a 3 shot burst with 10 sps, and those can be saved to one of the 5 presets.

Anytime they adjust the game to catch/remove modders, you can just adjust the controller back a little and keep playing.

This thing looks like it's the Apex of controllers. And like they say "the last controller you ever need".

It looks and sounds awesome but I would look for some actual tests or vidz done on the web before i spent the money to buy it.
