UOSteam health bar issues?

Hello everyone,

I've been using UOSteam for months now, and I absolutely LOVE it. There's just one problem I've been running into though, and that's with health bars. The names of the health bars will change, sometimes to a pet in my stables, sometimes to a nearby NPC or vendor, and also the health won't update correctly. I'm on OSI shards. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I would really appreciate it!

I have not encountered this. Are you patched to the latest uo client?
I will do some testing to see if I can get the error.

I have same bug using UOSteam on EA & Patched to last client too.
UOS v1.0.5

I dont think this issue is limited to Steam itself, I think it's persistent through the entire classic client. Guildmates of mine who don't use steam have the same issue with health bars.

It happens when you have someone's bar pulled and then either go off screen (this is hit and miss) then come back on to their screen, or when they change servers (serverline, recall, gate, etc) and you follow them and vice versa.

I have had this problem for years just using Client by itself.  Nothing new for me.

Oh, I forgot to mention also... It wont happen if you dont have any active pets (mount, etc) or stabled pets.

Broadsword is aware of this issue, it's a bug and they are working on it.

What spat is that?  I just don't read stratics anymore.  After they lost something like 3 forum sites, I kinda gave up on them.

Lol, they just lost all of UO's "Official" presence. Every EM recently declared on stratics that they will no longer use Stratics for posting info about their events.

Needless to say EA staff no longer use it up to and including the Event mods, who now use a different avenue to communicate with players.

Malafide has a website that everyone who left Stratics is now using, and from what I gather that is pretty much everyone

Again more questions and rumor here than any type of facts.

The only solid fact stated above is EA staff event moderators no longer using Stratics.

Wow, I didn't realize that EA and Stratics kinda had a tiff.

Not all event mods are using other mediums, just some of them left. Devs are still posting there as well, I just saw Kyronix respond in Uhall this weekend. There was drama over some em's doing things on some shards while others weren't doing them and the devs stepped in and changed things and made something called a player event coordinator but basically a lot of drama. I have no idea who malafide is but an old volunteer named Petra who use to run the UO portion added a information section similar to UO guide to a guild website. http://ode-guild.com/uostuff/index.html Stratics is going to a completely new website and a lot of people are talking about leaving because of that.
