; Script Name: TrailMyx's Smart/Repeating IDOC House Placer v1.6
; Author: TrailMyx
; Version: 1.6
; Client Tested with: 5.0.2
; EUO version tested with: 1.5 106
; Shard: OSI, FS
; Revision Date: 3/17/2007
; Public Release: ...
; Global Variables Used: None
; Global Namespaces used: globalhouseplace
; Purpose:
; Fast house placement, remembers your house selection for placement retrys.
;
With the invention of the house placement tool, it became almost impossible to repeatedly place a house more than once using a script. With this script, it will remember what house you tried to place and continue to place it until you stop the script or it places successfully.
This script has the same features of my Simple'n'Easy script, but it learns the housing choice, so you only have to navigate the tool to your housing selection once. It is also compatible with OSI and RunUO shards (the pixcol of the house placement gump text for these are different)
Also, this script is capable of communicating with my Autolooter 2.0x script. I will have to adjust this a bit when I finally release the 2.0 version, because this script will run repeatedly until you break. Not the best thing when you may also want to loot. ;)
I would recommend you log into the UO test shard to experiment with house placements before you try using any placement script. It's always best to be prepared!
Enjoy!

after setting it up i keep getting an error that says i need to restart it. Am i setting it up wrong?
-
Probably won't work on your freeshard then. Was really written for OSI.
-
Tried this on OSI. i get that same error.
-
With the changes to house placement, these probably won't work anymore. I haven't looked into these just because I really don't play OSI much anymore.
-
Tons of bannings going on in OSI would be useful tool but what you would have to do is set it so it repeatidly tries to place a home every 20 secs or so because of this... just on atlantic this week - luna house inside walls, 2 keeps, tons of towers and tahts just what i know of.
-
When the house to allow the placement of T and F will start the music.
Walking is played in the Arctic Island, for example.
When building a house can play music.
Malas are excluded because they are not playing music.
Once you start building music that do not create scripts?
I witnessed this morning Who built a house using this system
-
I doubt this script will work very well since the house placement changes.
-
About six months ago I wrote an auto placement script, based pretty much on the idea behind this script here...
I haven't tested it since then though, but it could be still working...

EDIT: not sure how it's gonna handle the current placement delay issue, but I guess the wait var could be modified to work around it...

It waits until it receives the packet which cancels construction regulation.
Construction will be performed if a packet is received.
If it sets up such, it can build well.
Those who are building by this method were seen.
However, he did not teach a construction script.

Or else it gets the hose again... wait, what?

It is necessary to find out the packet number of construction deregulation.
When a house collapses
The music which can be heard in the field stops.
And if construction regulation is canceled, music can be heard again.
The packet at this time is investigated.
-
The packet of construction deregulation is perceived.
And construction is performed.
It turned out that EUO cannot reproduce this operation.
It seems that the analysis of a packet is possible for ZUO of Japan, and it can also do construction of a house.

I would like to point out that the repeating house placement scripts DO still work to your advantage, albeit you need to have multiple accounts to get the most use out of them. Simply have it set up on each account, and have it paused on all but one. When one account's housing tool "overheats" simply pause it and push play on the next.
On an OSI shard a player has used this technique to grab 2 luna houses and three castles in one week.
Good Luck

You could have a single script that switched clients as needed, using uoxl swap... a good idea what shard did this person snag these luna houses on

I actually used this script today to place a house on Alexandria. It even managed to avoid the anti-Luna placement rules. Rules are just so 2000s. :)

What is the anti-luna placement rules? Is it a size restriction or something? I never knew that there was any restrictions there.
-
You have to pause between attempr to place a house. it u are just trying to place none stop your tool with overheat and stop working. this is why some team up to place a house.
-
Ok thank you :)
-
On Lexia, it's a bit more old school. The house tool doesn't "break", but when something drops within the Luna area, this starts a special time where nothing can be places for an undetermined amount of time. But since this tool will sit and try and place the same footprint in the same place over and over again, it just kept trying to place until the expiration of whatever nonsensical limitations.
And now my Mom has a new vender house and I have one less Xmas present to buy!

On OSI we also have the random timer after a house drops.

You set the bar high for Xmas next year haha :D
