Scripting Chat / Start Script at Specific Line

I'm a total newb, so please excuse my ignorance.
Is there a way to start a script at a certain line? I'm trying to figure out what is going wrong, and rather than starting the script from the top (because of course my troubles are midway through) I would like to start at a certain line. It could be something to do with the 'step over', 'step into', 'step out' options but I have no idea what those mean. I pause when the script doesn't do what I want, so I have a general idea of where it is going awry, but because I'm clueless I am kind of just stumbling along with changing things and hoping they work, it would be much easier to start from where the issue is.
I tried to search for this but I couldn't find anything. I'm sure i'm just using the wrong verbiage...

Holy guacamole, this script is the bees knees. I find trap fishing the most boring thing everrrrrr. This works perfectly for me using legacy boat, sacred journey, legacy 10 and home only. Thanks!

New member introductions / Hey ya'll!

Hello there, I recently came back to UO after originally playing in 1998-2000ish. I was just a wee person then and didn't really get into much detail but enjoyed myself immensely. I started off as a miner/smith and after getting PKed regularly I thought I should consider fighting back. I switched my char over to a swordsperson, but again, being young I didn't know the ins and outs so I was still PKed regularly *chuckles*. Anyhow, I eventually got a bit of a RL social life and left the world of Sosaria.
Welp, i'm back and holy freaking crap have things changed. I am just kind of attempting to sort things out, I still have swords so I've kinda morphed that char into a Sampire but just barely - haha. I have no clue what i'm doing, but what I do know, is its all super tedious and I would like to make things easier on myself. I've been messing around with some scripts and even have made a few successfully (albeit ugly) and am just looking for more resources and guidance for creating my own or frankensteining a few together to fit my needs. Aside from scripts this site has really great detail on other things that have really helped reduce some of my cluelessness. I've actually been able to fight off some ugly monsters without dying constantly so, for me, that's some freaking success!
Thanks for all you do, this is such a great way to waste some time and get back a little nostalgia (although now I feel like i'm mostly just studying endlessly to learn what the heck i'm supposed to be doing!)
