Scripting Chat / Re: Does any know of a GM detection routine??
« on: November 07, 2008, 08:39:52 AM »
umm...
Yeah they have lightened up a lot in that way.

The 3 times they asked me to provide a answer to a question were when i was script mining.  Maybe they were just being extra careful because I was obviously running a script.

Yeah, and the other 2-3 miners in your locations mined the same way.  Happened to me last week, and I see all the same folks now within my screens we all, dig dig recall, recall dig dig.  Why do I does this GM? Cause it's quicker then trammel and I dont want anyone killing my firebeetle and taking 1k+ ingots after killing me. Oh, and my one spot that yields 30-40 color each spawn, just turned Val!!

Linux / Re: The future is Linux!
« on: November 06, 2008, 11:40:32 AM »
I've always wanted to set up a linux box, but never got to it with installing all the drivers and such for keyboard, mouse and all... now, I just simply do not have time. The nerd in me though would like to and get that stuff going since it can do UO, through win or whatever that is  :P  Everything else I would use on a computer has linux apps, so, it would be easy for me, just getting the time to do it.

Scripting Chat / Re: Loot-worthy Items [In Your Opinion]
« on: November 05, 2008, 07:04:30 AM »
This is a very good seperate thread for loot. Since we have had so many new peeps in here, they can easily check out this thread in reference to using CLAw. I been too lazy to set up CLAw, just because I kept crashing with it, but then, I was trying to run it and a rubble scavanger at the time, and, talk about straining EUO.

I fear the imbuing, because, if we stash items away now, we might fill up our places and it might be another year or 2 before it's released. I'm stocking up on ingots right now. For imbuing/unravaeling, I'll say, have a bod book holding bods for low end hammers, once imbuing hits, I can then turn them in, get hammers, use iron ingots, make low end runic weapons, unravel all items without the 1-3 max properties of my liking.

However, keeping items for imbuing or selling, I would have to add in this.

All 100% weapons (except physical)
All UBWS, SC (-1 even), mage armor, night sight  (these are considered 100% intensity for unraveling purposes)
Jewels with resist total >= 25
Dex 8
DCI already mentioned, but I'd want more by itself atleast for PvM, casting lightning strike takes care of HCI

This is my thoughts for now, could add later.

Scripting Chat / Re: Stealing Power Scrolls
« on: November 05, 2008, 06:46:21 AM »
I'm not going to add this to any of my lists of projects, since I'm also behind on those, plus I have no thief. Though, one isn't need to make the script, you can still make it without a thief. Just wanted to mention....   Stat Scrolls too,  +25, 20, and so forth. Cannot forget about stealing them bad boys.

The search and assigning the values will be easy, just have to manage the time, every split second will count. Whoever tries to tackle this, remember, logical search/indexing.

I'm on Atl btw and interested in the development and support of this

-K

I got characters still on atlantic that can mark and do things, perhaps I could help, time permitting, with some leg work.

Once I get around to my bod sorter or gaman quest heartwood run script, I think in spite, I'm going to do it with nothing but gotos.   no subs, just all gotos. goto here, do this, sysmsg GoT0s Ru73!

Beer / Trippel (New Belguim Brewing Company)
« on: October 31, 2008, 08:37:01 PM »
This is one of my favorite belguim ales brewed in the states. It's from New Belguim Brewing Company, the ones that put out Fat Tire (one I can't stand) and others. It has a nice golden color, a little bit of an aroma, and a suttle spice to it. Has to be drank from a snifter type glass. The beer poured into the wrong glass or drank out of the bottle, is bad bad drinking (unless it's Bud/Miller). This is a nice drink if worried about price of some of the imported belguim ales. Maybe Konesky prefers Tres Pistols or La Fin Du Monde... a couple things that I like out of canada, but, this isn't about those beers. It's also not about Ommegang Rare Vois either. Another nicely brewed belguim ale by an American brewery out of Cooperstown NY.

Beer / Re: Newcastle brown ale
« on: October 31, 2008, 08:28:34 PM »
Woo a beer connoisseur as well? I'm a self proclaimed beer connoisseur, not that i necessarily remember how they all taste but I've tried on the order of 400 kinds of beer and I haven't met too many I didn't enjoy. Newcastle is a gooder, dark but quite a "thin" beer not as thick/cream as some of the dark stuff but its nice. I'm more of an India Pale Ale fan myself... Alexander Keith's for example!

I love drinking and scripting lol

Oh grasshopper, you have much to learn. Newcastle <> dark  :P  It's more of an amber ale. want a dark ale/lager, try Shiner Black, 1554, ummm.. Kostriker, which 2 of those have been reviewed in the beer forum. Now, if we go dark with thick/cream, your're starting to talk about stouts and porters, scroll up to a mention of Youngs Double Chocolate Stout. Porters, sorry, that's an area I lack.  I also lack IPA, not been my taste, they just miss it a little. Konesky, I'm thinking you probably like ESB's too... Fullers ESB?

Questing / Re: Heartwood Quester feedback thread
« on: October 31, 2008, 07:14:04 AM »
Everything in this script works perfect for me except when it tries to toggle quest items. Not the actually targeting ot the items, but the selecting "toggle quest item" from the gump. Any idea what could be causing this? I'm not running assist or razor, smallest game window resolution. I'm stumped  ???

You're probably doing other things when the script is running. I've noticed this issue too, mostly doing the carp quest. Though, it's been said before, that you need to keep the window uncovered, not just during the pathfinding to and from.

Beer / Re: Hop Ottin' India Pale Ale!
« on: October 30, 2008, 07:05:31 AM »
the US is catching up and even surpassing

Umm lets not get ahead of ourselfs now.. lol

The us i always find is increadibly narrow in its beer offerings 90% of the time the choice on offer isnt really a choice. (at least in my neck of the woods)

These little micro brews that might have some decent brews still have trouble competing with the watered down imports that we get here. Now, imagine the imports at their own strength in their respective countries compared to the micro brews....  yup, no comparison really.

Gold Farming / Re: TrailMyx's Fish Treasure Hunter v1.6
« on: October 29, 2008, 06:26:15 AM »

This "TrailMyx's Fish Treasure Hunter 1.5" is what I have dreamed of for along time... And it works super.. :)

Well it wont track pearls, BUT, I'm not into all the tracking stuff anyway..

Thanks again...
coy

Now if you have dreamed about this, and have heard about fishing tales, then, there are rumors going around, that those of an elite status, have seen TMs Fully Auto Fisher. And yes, I got tons of points, I got all 3 armor sets and 2 of the jewels sets basically with the Auto fisher. I did waste tons of points though, wedding was around the end of the clean up and I was too busy to finish fishing up SOS that i had collected that were within about 2-4 screens of eachother.

Off Topic / Re: Does the infamous TrailMyx sleep.
« on: October 28, 2008, 08:32:03 PM »
I was thinking maybe TM was actually just able to code in his sleep?

You got it wrong, it's a really advanced AI bot, to respond and code depending on what's typed.

Thanks for reading Coy! It wasn't until after I hit send did I realize how long that damn thing was LOL
