Its not working for me now.  I uninstalled it, downloaded v.9, installed
it has to rebuild map files everytime I open it saying that they can't be found
when it does rebuild it, its wrong.  I have checked the settings and it looks for
the correct client in the correct directory.

I have run it as administrator, etc.     All my known fixes that I try have not worked.

I'm going to see if I can find some instruction on installation, etc., but if anyone knows
off the top of their head the obvious step i'm missing to make this work I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Glad to see the older community represented.   Just recently came back to UO myself
and am presently teaching an 8 year old how to play.  This has been fun.

i did a level 4 (still only have 99.5 cart, have to go get me some more maps that aren't already decoded)

I got a skelly key, 6 essences of something or other, the tasty treat, altricity scroll (alchemy) and 20K
plus i just bag the rest for unravelling).  No map though.

I was hoping the skelly key was something super cool rare.  I just realize it helps with lockpicking.   (goes to read about this).

PS  Thanks for these threads, they are very helpful

shield - Vesper chaos for FC / FCR
Boomstick - with britches, / sleeves, you are going to need  the LRC/ Also FC1 and MR3 fits.
all 70's close to out of reach with britches and sleeves. doable, but lose out on extra properties.

bracelet / ring - 3 x 15 is doable, BUT at 1.4 intensity, you are almost maxed out. ( 420 total imbue points I think for the 3)

this is off the cuff at work, will play with resists on pieces when I get some time. If you add in a helmet (lots of choices), you are walking on thin ice as far as resists are concerned.

Thanks for this! :)

I want the easiest possible template in order to my maps solo.   I have a gazillion of them from when the elves first came out.

I just have to buckle down and go on test to see what works.   I'm still having trouble finding the exact spot to dig.   Must be oldtimers disease :P

I am most definitely interested in the type of suits.  This area of UO (just like WoW) gives me a headache.  Its too much MATH (which IS A FOUR LETTER WORD!).

I assume I'd want LRC/LMC as the most important attributes.  After that, i would guess resists and/or luck

I'm thinking:
120 Provo
120 Music
120 Discord
110 Magery
100 Lock Picking
110 Evaluate
50 Med (not sure that would even be helpful *shrugs*)

haha, I've been married LOTTSA years, met my hubby when I was 15, married at 17.

BUT

That was awesome, gm lockpicking was a breeze with that script.

I've done up to level 4 maps with my toon, without discord.

Finding the maps on the mainland seems to be very difficult, i.e., the spots do not appear to be accurate at the pin when the dig is.   On the islands, its very accurate.

At least that appears to be my take.

I haven't tried it on the test yet.   I may try the harder maps there.

Finding them is a royal pain

We have a local landline here, for $15.00 per month, and a magicjack for the long distance, which we just love.  SO much better and cheaper than the one offered by the cable company
