GMs have a few different methods of checking in on a player who has been reported for scripting. (Which is probably what happened here, a player simply reported him in attempts to weed out competition)
They can either contact you via porting to you and revealing themselves for open chat (which they almost NEVER do anymore), they can also use the old style prompt-chat method which opens up a gump that prompts you with the statement that a GM desires to speak to you in which case you have to click it to initiate chat, they can use the newer style (Which is the most common now) method of chat where you can just reply via the left bracket key "[" and lastly they can simply just pull you to Jail in order to speak to you. Pulling you to jail in order to simply speak is something that typically happens more often when multiple people report a person, as opposed to just one person reporting.
