Which computer to use as my main one to play uo with?

1:
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-core (2.21ghz)
2.87 gb ram

2:
AMD Athlon II x2 240 (2.81ghz)
1.75gb ram

I dont know how to find out any other info lol.  this is just in the control panel/system page lol.

vista or xp64bit?

i like this one (the phenom) but i'm having problems with it.  when i switch windows sometimes (30% of the time) the window that was active keeps flashing over the current active one...  so if I'm on one client, then I swap to my other they flash back and forth like crazy!  It gets SOOOOOOOOOO annoying...

I'm not sure what to do.

64 xp of coarse, I HATE vista.

thats a video driver problem, find out your chpset and update to the latest versions from either ati or nvidia.

Heavly Disagree W7 is only just a little bit better than vista.  Both are resource hogs and the same items and program can run under xp and it only needs a gig and you are almost in heaven you need 4 to 5 gig just for the same programs to run semi smoothly and crashes are eminentant if you allow vista/7 to run more than a day or so but xp could run for moths at a time with out issues. Vista/7 = memory hog ....  xp = a little older technology but still runs fine.

I have always said when its windows, you need to wait 2-3 years for the OS to become stable and useable.
