Greetings.
Since some people have done it, it must be something that can be repeated. I recommend we put our heads together and find the way.
I think I have 80% of the solution, but I need your help.
1) Get a crate (or other axe-able container) in your pack.
2) Recall to a ricardo book.
3) Equip the lamp (if you've already equipped it, unequip, then equip again.)
4) Turn on the lamp. It should be green. If not, turn it off and go back to step 3.
5) Unequip the lamp and put it in the crate
6) Turn the lamp on in the crate.
The lamp is now green, and will stay green as long as it is in the crate, in your pack. I had hoped that, when I dropped the crate and axed it, it would result in a lockable green lamp. Unfortunately, dropping the crate turns the light normal. Things to try:
1) BoS the lit lamp to your bank
2) Turn the crate in your pack before dropping it
3) Die with the lit lamp in the crate in your pack. Have someone loot you.
Anyone else have ideas? I enjoy this sort of thing. My apologies if TM doesn't approve.
