Trying to get back into the game.  I got the client, not really feeling the OSI thing so I'll be looking at free shards.

I think only one of my scripts made it here, the Caroler.  If anyone has any of the others, I'd love to get my hands on them again.

I forgot about that one!  My scripts may not have been for everyone, but they certainly filled a niche.

EUO?

Have you submitted any scripts?  When have you been active?  I've been a member of EUO, and scripting now for about 4 years.  I'd be surprised we haven't met.  What's your alias?

Anyhow, Welcome back :D
I brought my Christmas Caroler Script with me when I signed up here way back in the day.  I had about a half dozen other scripts but they've been lost over the years.  I had one that was really nice for setting skills on TC, just a simple menu where you type in the values you want and it will change your skills for you, and I had an incredible Champ Camper (or Happy Champer, I hadn't decided on the title) about 95% complete that reported in guild chat, and also could be queried in guild chat about the last known status of a particular spawn, including a time stamp (iirc).

Welcome back!  Just saying hello or are ya back?
I *MIGHT* be back, C2.  Looking back into UO out of nostalgia

whoooooooooooo are you?
I'm Seventy2.  I've pretty much been a member since the beginning of EasyUO back in the day.  I met TM and the gang on another scripting site and moved here when it opened.  I'd classify myself as an intermediate level scripter back then, though I'm quite rusty now.

Well, getting hacked on the live servers and EA doing absolutely nothing about it kinda turned me away from UO.  I played WoW for a bit, got rich there too, got bored with it.  Got the mass mail TM sent out, figured I'd poke my head in and see how everyone was. Sucks not being Elite anymore though.  :P

Misc. Scripts / Seventy2's Christmas Caroler
« on: December 20, 2008, 05:42:19 PM »
This one was a big hit last year over on UOC and it took me way too long to get the timings just right for it to only be used one year.  So here it is, my Christmas Caroler!

This script is a menu driven Christmas caroler script.  Simply choose the song you wish to "sing"  and click the button, and your character will belt out the song in its entirety (i.e. not just the chorus.  Some songs have more verses than included here, but some songs just plain have too many verses).  The current version has 27 holiday classics:

Jingle Bells
Frosty the Snowman
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Have a Holly Jolly Christmas
Away in a Manger
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Silent Night
The First Noel
Here Comes Santa Claus
O Christmas Tree
Winter Wonderland
Silver Bells
O Come, All Ye Faithful
Joy to the Word
Little Drummer Boy
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Up On the Housetop
Twelve Days of Christmas
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear
Hark, the Herald Angels Sing
I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas
Deck the Halls
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow
The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)

It's pretty much plug-n-play, no setup required.  Just run the script and it will ask you if you want to start the script in compact mode.  This refers to the menu, and you can switch between the two at any time you're not in the middle of a song.  Pics of the two modes:

Basically, one has buttons, the other has a dropdown list.  Enjoy, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
