Isn't there supposed to be a new MW or BattleTech property due out *ahem* "soon"?

I have already prepaid for my copy of Titanfall for the Xbox 360. Seriously looking forward to this title.

. You could spend months working on a ship and then have it destroyed.

Umm.. Yes and No. If you have worked the amount of time it takes to either build or buy your dream ship you should have developed your resource (i.e. minerals to build it or ISK (credits) to buy it.) gather capabilities. Keep in mind you can insure the craft you fly to offset some small part of your loss. Also, if you spent that much time acquiring the ship hopefully you learned how/where to fly it too. If you stay to high security systems you risk of loss is minimal. If, however, as soon as you get your sparkly new ship out of station and then proceed directly to low security space without the backup and the knowledge on how to stay safe? Well you deserve what happens to you ;).

In UO terms. If you were fresh out of Haven on a brand new character, would you load it up with expensive gear and run straight to the backwoods of Fel?

There are groups out there that will teach you how to protect yourself and your ships. These guys are great and I have been to several of their classes. http://www.agony-unleashed.com/index.php?/forum/2-enrollment/

I am running into a problem, and not for sure what to change to fix it.. whenever I fish, it just says "You cannot see that location" when it tries to cast the fishing pole.
---------------
It started working.. kept having to restart it. I did a bit of manual fishing with script paused, and now works -- so far.

Script looks well built - and coding very good (way above anything I could dream of doing)

You aren't trying to fish from a Tall Ship are you? Script is only designed to work with legacy boats.

Is this now a private script? I don't see any link or attachment in the first post of this thread to the script :( Was really hoping to give it a try...

EDIT: ahhh, I'm guessing I have to introduce myself first - will do so in the new members thread :p

Now hold on just a cotton picken' minute! You mean to tell me someone actually read the forum rules? :o

I have not tried it yet. But I am planning on switching to Wal-Mart's wireless program called Straight Talk. Gives you 2.5 Meg at full speed then unlimited data after that at 2g. At $40/month its hard to say no.

Many book publishers have made a portion of their catalog available for free in PDF and other formats. Just figure out what publishing house/s handle the material you like and search their website (or even just use a bit of google-fu) to find these gems.

i.e. :http://www.baenebooks.com/c-1-free-library.aspx

All without any karma aggro ;D

I have been looking on every message in this post and I just cant find the script files. When people answers they say its in the very first post. But there is nothing to download in the first post, and the written script to copy from is only some info lines, so my question again is, where do I find this Fisherman script ??

Plz anyone :-)

I refer you to this page http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=447.0.

Specifically, section 3 which states

An introduction is required for access to all scripts. All new users are automatically Restricted. You will remain restricted until a staff member accepts your introduction.

I am still not sure if I should complete the SoS's or trash them for points?
Do whichever suits you best. With the right scripts (TM has a great one) fishing up the SoS's is a snap. On the other hand, if you are the type to go for cleanup points you will probably get more by fishing everything up and trashing the "fished up from a shipwreck" junk.

Is the fish turn in different than trashing the fish steaks for cleanup points?
Yes. The turn in for this is called the "Fishmonger Quest" or sometimes "The Professional Fisherman's Quest" Details at this link http://www.uoguide.com/Professional_Fisher_Quest

It is possible this script needs the .mul files. Not really sure, but it has been a problem with several of the other scripts. Do a search looking for the .mul links here on coders and follow the instructions you find.

Coders ??   lol .... u suffering from a small timewarp their bookwyrm

*sigh* Was a long day at the end of a very long week. :-[
