Title: Any working methods to keep quest items?
Post by: 8 Ball on January 10, 2010, 01:26:34 PM
Some pretty neat stuff introduced with the SA quests...stuff that would look great locked down in my house :D Does anybody know of a working method to keep these quest items? Note I don't mean the orange coloured ones, just average items :)

You probably won't find too many people talking about these methods in public.  Now the Elites are entertaining all kinds of interesting things; but those are behind closed doors.  ;)

Things are just getting fixed real fast nowadays once they hit public boards.  Kudos to EA but ouch to leaving the real fun stuff on public boards.

no idea what that was.  all i can think of is axing a crate.  i don't think you can put one in a crate anymore.

I have tried this in the past and it has worked, but it makes it a sort of permanent.  What I do is to place a goza mat in my house where I want an item, then raise the goza mat up to about 8 or 10 off the floor witht he Interior Decorator Tool.  I get a ladder then place it so it leans on the goza, then climb the ladder to stand on the goza mat.  I place a trash can on the goza mat, then drop the item that is not droppable in the trash can.  Axe the trash can.   Wella!  This worked grat on the scraps of note from the last Halloween Quest.  I dropped all 5 pieces of the note into the trash can and after I axed it the note was sort of put together.  I lowered the goza onto a table made out of shadow granite and axed the goza.  It sure does look good.  Some pieces were easly adjusted with the Interior Decorator tool.

If this belongs in the Elite Section, please let me know...
