Definitely true EN. And I'm still learning so these types of little projects help me the most. I've never programmed or written any significant code in my life, so I have far to go but I look forward to the journey!

Thanks Gents.

I think you're all on to something..... Fishing is possibly the most boring thing I've done in UO.

Haha but either way I'll give those a go, but check this super ghetto piece I made!!

Code: [Select]

Repeat
 onhotkey 8
  gosub hotkey 8
  sleep 1
 until false

sub hotkey 8
 while #maxhits = #maxhits
{
 key F2
 wait 80
 key F1
 Wait 70
}
Stop

I wasn't looking for pure automation so for what I wanted, I give it a 7/10.

I found the hotkey and key commands in the wiki and the end result was I he'd cast the fishing line, equip his bow, shoot anything targeting him, real a fish in, equip the pole and cast it..... Over and over until he filled up and then I'd go unfill him. Simple stupid!

Scripting Chat / Target Relative (mining)
« on: January 17, 2013, 06:40:33 PM »
Good Evening SUO,

I'm trying to make a hotkey activated fisher (attended) that can cast without discretion similiar to how UOAssist uses the target relative (mining).
Goal is for me to maunally recall to the boat hit my hotkey and let him fish until I stop it to either unload or kill a serpent.

I mean as of now I can recall to my boat and hit my uoassist (I know everyone uses razor, right?!) macro thats simply:
Use Item
Target Relative (mining)

and wherever I am on the boat it just cast to the water.

Thanks,
Casa

Recently switched to Geico myself and saved over 1000 a year... Was with 21st Century. And two years was hit by a Geico driver and the claim was SOOOOOO painless it made me go to them first for a quote and lo and behold they lowered the deductibles added in the car rental and saved me money!

Good Luck.

Presently I have my new .45 ACP(Taurus 24/7), a .380 auto (Bryco) and my target .22LR(S/W).  I have a couple rifles, but not presently at my address.

I've been stockpiling my .45 ACP ammo since that's what zombies hate the most.  :)

I plan on purchasing a 9mm pretty soon.  Probably will get a higher caliber semi-automatic rifle sometime soon.

Haha never noticed where you lived until this post, of course seeing your armament I won't stalking you or anything but the wife and I were looking to buy a house there! And that's by far her most favorite mall. The one right off the 15...

I work in pendleton, live in miramar!

Regardless to keep the post a bit on topic:
I'm not authorized to have firearms in my household as I live on base... soooo yea I don't have any....... :-)

I dunno if anybody else will see the humor here but I think it's hilarious how poor this idea goes.

Yes, we're really lucky to have so many old players that not only script but tend to be UO powergamers and full of really awesome UO information.  We're probably the most under-appreciated UO fan site on the net!

I know that since I got on here I've made it my favorite page on pretty much everything. Laptop, Desktop, Microsoft Surface and my phone. It really is a great community.

I think you mean Covetous, not Despise.  Despise is definitely NOT farmer-friendly...none of those monsters have loot anymore!

Each of the dungeons drops a different kind of loot.  Wrong does not drop gargoyle stuff, but rather elven/samurai gear.

Sorry my bad! Yea I meant Shame.

I've been farming shame but I always think about despise from my pvp days!
I'm slowly but surely making a comeback so don't mind my stupid questions! Haha

Made 51M selling Shame loot and whole bunch of Mesanna poinsettias.

I think the Shame loot gravy train is just about over, though, as the market is getting flooded with Stam 5/SSI 5 jewelry.

A hint for anyone still farming:  Do it in Wrong.  You won't have that agonizing situation when a piece spawns that *should* sell for 150M and instead only goes for 5M because it is gargoyle jewelry.  Happened to me TWICE on Sunday and I've quit in disgust for the week.

Gargoyle jewelry doesn't spawn in wrong?

Despise drops both as well as shame?

I do the same thing I do every time I'm bored which is make $$$.  I haven't worked skills in years (52 soulstones heh).

Very nice! Unfortunately my last exit of the game involved letting my keep decay... with all my soul stones and goodies! Kinda starting over and it's been fun. My interest so far has been higher than any other point I can recall so I guess it wasn't that bad losing it all.

GM'd Cartography, Lockpicking, Mysticism, and Poison! Working Spellweaving right now and looking for scrolls for SW and Myst!

You get anything done you wanted?

As a side note Mysticism isn't as powerful as I'd hoped... I only used it to go kill the overseers and minions for the SW quest but hopefully the curve for strength is high at legendary!

We might be using different terminology, but a weapons officer isn't something you can do until several years after becoming an officer.  Still, cool to see your friend joining the ranks!

Yea I'm not sure of his actualy contract title. It's aviation and weapons of some sort ;-)

Burned Approx 6500 blank scrolls.
