The Apple II ,,  that actually was the last apple computer i used,  was pretty good for its day I remember being impressed.

My favoritest days of my computer life were my first Apple IIe computer.  I miss the days where computers were mysterious, magical, and command-line driven.  I also miss 5.25 drives.

I still have old code on a stack of 5.25 floppies... and i have drives to play them .. maybe if they still work lol..

I felt like a king when I got my floppy drive driven IIe.  I had been programming the TS-1000/2068 for a couple years, so I was so used to saving programs on a cassette tape.  That was normal, so when I finally had a dynamically seekable drive like the floppy, it was like I discovered fire!

RIP. 

It will be interesting to see what happens from here forward.  Apple has pulled off a major turn around but microsoft has become more like a utility and seems to have won that fight.  The field is ripe for something to occur in the area that apple has come to dominate.

I still own my apple IIe. I could post some pictures but I would have to pull it out of storage. I still have my disk holder of over 400 5.25 floppies that go with it. No idea what condition they are in they have been in storage with  no climate control for many years :)
