HOUSE DECAY BEGINS AGAIN 1/16/12

Here's what you need to know.

Houses will begin to decay that day.  Therefore they will be falling on sometime between friday and sunday, depending on how and when EA actually starts the decay timer. Standard timer is 5 day cycle.

This site has an idoc searching script. It works, and it'll save you time.

HOUSES ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FALL ON THE 16TH.  Don't panic if you're not on that day.  The most likely date of collapses will be on a weekend.  Competition will be fierce.

If you plan on doing felucca idocs, MAKE STEALTHERS.  Most of the people here are not top tier pvpers and you're not going he-man on those who are.  Plan ahead. a stealther takes only a day to script up.  So don't miss out if you're bad at pvp.  If you have exploit info for idocs, submit it to gimlet or I before that date.  The increased value of those exploits may earn private section access.

I've never played around with it but does the CLAW option to loot stuff on the ground not work the same?

It allows you to target what items you want to loot.  It doesn't really do any evaluation like the CLAw does.  So for a private house, the IDOC looter is kinda useless.  But if you can wander around a house, you can setup your looting profile prior to the house falling.

Monday is a holiday. So I guess no one at EA will be working to come turn on house decay :) LOL pretty bad when you can not even write some simple code to reactivate it. They have to come in and manually activate it LOL.

I am soooooooo stoked for idocs again. I will take a cpl days off work just to be out there killing. The entire guild is prepping for this.

Me personally, I dont care much for the loot, I am there for the fight.

There will be MUCH whining in GC, I imagine.

It'll be interesting to see what happens...

Hopefully the 90 day rules still applies.

I just closed down shop and cancelled 3 of my 4 accounts but still have 2 houses.

the 90 day rule applies from the date of account de-activation not from the 17th.

I just saved 2 of my houses from falling by re-opening the accounts, when i re-opened them i got a free 14day pass in front of the paid time, so when i get to the 12th or 13th day, i will just cancel them all :) (i reopened the other 6 dormant accounts too)

Save your houses for free :D
