I've been playing UO since 2000, was inactive for several and returned in early 2011.
Didn't know about easyuo or scripts until I came back.
I use them mostly for making mundane tasks automated; watering plants, mining, lumberjacking, etc
I am a computer programmer by day and I might try my hand at creating some scripts after I learn how it all works.
Maybe I'll add a bit more:
I'm 45 years old.  I'm pretty addicted to pixel crack, I've made excuses (need to do laundry) to get out of family gatherings.  Currently, unemployed (since March 2011) but would like to get a new job to get the bill collectors to stop bothering me.  I took a part time job at McD's and I was promoted to shift manager, bleh, which means get yelled at by customers, by the crew, by the other managers and by the Corp Office, oh and then the county and state can show up anytime unannounced for an inspection, aren't we having fun now!
I do like watching movies on Netflix or Hulu, been watching the Star Trek: Voyager series, because I missed it in the 90s.
No wife, kicked it to the curb 6 years ago.  Actually, she was the one that first got me interested in UO, because her friend got her into it, because her brother was a video game freak and got into a LOT of betas.  They ran off to Asheron's Call, but I said screw that I'm staying in UO.  I had a brief stint in DAoC and Eve Online.
