If you're on OSI have you thought about cleanup points with them?

Hard scripting actually made me lose interest in the game. I came back and the only time I've hit play was to work a few skills that I didn't have.

So...BACON

Ever took a look at this? My wife and I ordered one. WE do Hulu too but may drop it if this works as well as I am hearing.

http://www.gomohu.com/

I read a lot of their reviews and did some research and i didn't see anything special about them with the exception that they're a little easier on the eyes than traditional antennas.

I really hope you went with the outdoor Sky version at least. I tried 3 indoor versions with 0 luck.

The best one i have is an indoor/outdoor $35 one from Home Depo. It's super tiny but it really picks up well outdoors.

I've also got a multi-directional outdoor one that i suggest to never try.

General UO Chat / Being lazy pays...

I started checking spawns again and I happened on a couple fellas doing despise. Being lazy and somewhat greedy I decided to protect them for some free scrolls.

When the champ died I noticed I had 2 of the new mastery things in my pack without having accepted ANY quest. So protection will guarantee you a drop at a mastery. At least in fel anyway. I've never done an ilsh spawn so i'll test protection there and post results.

Edit: Tested and no tram ruleset spawns allow protection.

Public Bugs / Non vendorable now works

I bought a few cheap tokens a while back that weren't vendorable. After this forced patch I checked again and now they're all vendorable.

Here:

Then use 12x's miner. It's a little buggy if you run it for hours on end.

Hardware Design / Re: question on what tv services people are using
« on: October 05, 2015, 08:08:44 AM »
Well where i live u verse is basically it other than dish. there is time warner but i have not heard good stuff about them. the highest internet i can get is 45 mb service. i have u400 cable service but i am tired of paying 180 a month for this service. everyone here other than me think that netflix will be enough. i like my alaska shows, naked and afraid, how it is made and others. if i get rid of the uverse i might have to downgrade to DSL through AT&T. what do you suggest to use ?

I use an outdoor antenna for my locals but it can be iffy at best depending where you live. Go to www.antennapoint.com, put in your zip code do a search THEN HIT ADVANCED OPTIONS and broaden your search mileage and it'll show what stations you have around you and where you need to be pointing the antenna. Antennas are only going to have NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX..nothing on the majors. Default search is only 10miles. Tin foil on a coat hanger will pick up a 10mile signal.

As far as finding the shows you want you just need to do research on which ones carry them. You don't want to pay money for Netflix if it doesn't carry your favs. I find a lot of the network shows I like on youtube to be honest.

I stream just fine on 25mb cable with a wired desktop and wifi laptop. It could be better and sometimes it does lag but the whole point is to save that money.

Anything you could want is on the internet now. There's absolutely no reason anyone should be connected to a tv company except for internet.

You can't put 50 HSL/HML on a composite bow with 30 SSI, I'm pretty sure it maxes at 37.

Honestly, I'm thinking even less gold than that for ingredients.

Yeah i was going by knuckleheads imbuing weight calculator. Didn't even think about the leeches going down with ssi.

Yeah if you got exact amounts. Most of the time if I need 10 i'll go ahead and buy 100 cause I know i'll always screw up and need more. lol.

@Gemviper: http://uo.stratics.com/hunters/   This is the stratics hunters guide. All you gotta do is find what you want to kill and it tells which slayer and their stats. It's pretty useful. Also good for finding max stats for taming.

I thought it would be easy to pick up a Compound Bow with HML, HSL, SSI, DI and the right Slayer

You can actually imbue that with points to spare.

50HML
50HSL
30SSI
50DI
Regular slayer
= 530 imbue points when there's a 550 cap. 550 imbue points when a super slayer is imbued.

You can usually buy a plain elemental damage for 7ish and those mods would cost in the neighborhood of 4-6mil in imbuing ingredients. If you're playing OSI and not freeshards...

The new talisman in the expansion has that extra 5swing speed you're looking for too!!

 Found this interesting.

http://fortune.com/2015/09/30/comcast-broadband-pricing-wireless/?xid=yahoo_fortune

They're going to start data cap testing to milk the consumer even more. It's a shame Comcast has little to no competition.

You can also use popcorn time or time4popcorn for movies...they're both pretty much the same.

It's rather nice watching movies the same day they're released in theaters.

General UO Chat / Re: Blinking screen
« on: September 23, 2015, 03:05:20 AM »
here is a question, I have noticed for about a month now, my screen blinks when I am playing UO....anyone know why and how I can fix this?  I don't know much about computer issues but I am wondering if it could be my video card going bad.   Thx for any ideas in advance :)

Mine did this a few years ago. It went up in smoke...literally.
