need help from the pvp pros out there

Need some advice on how to handle a situation.  I run a human nox/scribe mage and am running into two other characters and they eventually kill me.  The other two characters are a dexor and a archer.  The problem i am having is that they friggin' hit me everytime.  The dexxor usually disarms me and the archer moving shots me.  I can re-arm my mage wep but I can never get off any spells besides a poisen or harm here and there cause they are hitting me so much.  Should i go protection, i have 45-50 dci.  any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Not much you are going to be able to do in that situation. Now that you can't over cap dci, against multiple dexxers on a mage your best bet is to just take advantage of your surroundings. Going to have to try to separate them/field them first. You'd have a hard time getting spells off against just the disarm spammer, much less the two of them.

120 Wrestling Disarm and Para blow. Do they have resist? Paralyze one, disarm the other then dump until you have to para the first again.

Kind of tough to kill dexxers as a mage 1v1 nowadays considering the low PvP SDI you get and the ridiculous armor everyone rolls with now. 2v1 is impossible IMO opinion, unless they really suck, but you should still be able to survive long enough to GTF out lol.

Their pretty efficient as a team as far as the one disarming, the other ai, then if i try to run to heal up he switches to a fast moving shot bow.  If i do try to get a spell off their on top of me bleeding me or ai'ing me.  If its two v two we always win, but the 2 v one sucks.

Wall of stone is your friend. If they don't have resist try mana vamping and maybe paralyze incase they don't have a trapbox. But really, I love abusing wall of stone in tight spaces.

Summon daemon, paralyze/poison fields, conflag potions. If you want to stand toe to toe, curse one then drop a conflag and poison into harm spam at close range. You'll do ~12dmg harms + conflag + poison, effectively ruining healing. Daemon summoned helps too. Anticipate running into them, drop a para field and precast explosions to get the upper hand.

Well something I use that baffles the less intelligent Disarm spammers out there is to simply disarm your own weaopn right before you would expect him to disarm you.   I'll simply avoid the re-arm penalty in that case but say vs a single disarm / archer a lot of times you'll see the warfork come out and I'll drop my mage weapon right before he hits me with it.. then you see him switch over to composite for moving shot and I all of a sudden WTF arm my mage weapon and have a chance to get a combo off...   

Other than that I'd perhaps run Narbor Stats on both of your opponents and check for any silly holes in their suits (low resist etc) that could make a difference...  Mainly though as a mage character you just have to outsmart them, but it is tough in a 2 on 1 if they are any good.

If I remember correctly you have to have 80 dex after buffs for the parry to work?  For this temp you would only carry a shield?  How would a reactive paralyze shield work, seen some nice ones! Then you have disarm and para punch specials.

You dont NEED 80 dex, but 80 dex is where you gain the maximum benefit for the cost of your stats as a mage.

Template I used to run many many years back.

120 Magery
120 Eval
120 Resist
120 Wrestling
120 Parry
80 Poisoning
40 Meditation

40 Med won't cut it these days... If it's not a Mystic character I ALWAYS run 100 Med or greater because at 100 you get a small bonus.   If I remember correctly the 80 dex requirement for parry simply means that if your 120 parry + sheid + 80 dex you have a 35% to block any attack that would otherwise hit you.   For every 10 dex less than 80 you lose roughly 3% chance to block from what I recall.   I'd definitely set myself up so that when potted up Greater STR / DEX & cursed by a 120 eval/mage that I end up at 80 dex.

This one was fun, but required a bit higher Dex to be Useful. had to build basically a "Stat" Suit that Boosted your Stats like mad.

120 Mage
120 Eval
120 Resist
100 Anatomy
80 Healing
100 Meditation
80 Parry

Usually just a straightforward 120 Med/Eval/Resist/Wrestle/Parry/Meditation is usually a good start before you start playing with hybrids.
