I'm leaving 122 there just because there are still some freeshards out there who use the older client and some people have managed to get the quester to work in those places.

im having that same issue.  After i go through setup and hit start it starts making a crap load of jointing tools.  Trying to run the carpenter quest.  Checked everything you mentioned a few posts ago.

You need to download the 1.24 version....  You are using the 1.22 apparently.

Dunno what to tell you hoby.  Try downloading it again.  That happens to me on OSI now when I run the 1.22 quester.  1.24 works fine.  Be sure you aren't running Razor or UOA.  It's been downloaded a bunch now, and nobody is having an issue. (except for you.)

Time for me to be noob-like.... Whenever I start up the script it gets to the part where I dismount from my beetle and it tries to open the secure. Instead of opening the secure I just start pathfinding around aimlessly.

I am using UO's most current patch
Running SUOHWQ 1.24
I am NOT running UOAssist
Always Run is NOT checked
My backpack/character status/paper doll/loot bag are all open with nothing covering them

After trying to run the script twice I re-did my setup. However, after doing setup I still have this problem. What have I overlooked?


*EDIT* After doing setup a third time it worked. The only thing I did different was move the quester menu window off to the lower corner of the screen before clicking start.

Trick is just to do the setup slowly to be sure you do the clicks correctly and make sure the context menu isn't covered.

having a small problem with v1.24
Everything setup great i followed setup instructions ( real easy to setup nice job )
script takes me from my house to heartwood and runs fine
The problem is when i run out of boards the script stops and out says i am out of resources
I have to return myself to house and restart script (not a huge deal since I am running it from work)
Any clue where i went wrong

No uoa
all scripts are on desktop along with euox

also is there way to keep all the loot using bms item evl

What are you making?  Bows or stools?  Also, what's the skill of your crafter?

Edit:  I just tested this on my end again for a few cycles.  No problems.  There must be something wrong with your setup or your character configuration.  Give us more detail about your character skills and general setup.

I made one mistake i didnt wait long enough from time i ran out of boards before it starts moving me back to my house
It stops at my recall spot and i stay there

SO I know i set something up wrong or need to move my recall spot for home

Either spot works fine.  Just be sure you have your rune indexes set correctly.  One time I targeted my runebook (dungeon) and ended up recalling into the blood elemental spawn in Shame.  Ooops.

It works fine to get me from house to heartwood and doing the quest

I get 2 errors

I run out of supplies the script just stops and waits for me to click ok and move him manually

The other was the last post it just stops outside my house
I reset runebook and remarked home rune for a couple steps off my stairs
but i cant test that cuz im still stuck in heartwood with other error

Umm, why don't you put a few tinkers tools in your pack?  Also be sure to keep your main pack open.

Have you ever run this script before?
