General UO Chat / Mining skill gain question

If you are @ 99.5 mining and wearing the +5 mining gloves, will you still gain skill?
Also, how high does your mining have to be to get ML gems(ecrus and such)?

Scripting Chat / Newb help!

Hello, ScriptUO'ers. Lately been writing very, very simple scripts for my own needs. I have zero experience, and am learning completely from scratch.
I seem to have stumped myself trying to find the right coding to make my character meditate untill full mana and then continue casting his spells. Simple enough i'm sure... but after searching through EasyUO's documentation and tinkering around with other peoples scripts. I can't seem to get it right.
*edit*Right now i got it set so that if my character goes under 40 mana, i meditate for 10 seconds. Can't figure out how to make him med untill he reaches full mana.
What is the easiest possible method to do this? Any help would be great!

Ok i've used scripts for years, but never really took the time to make my own. Recently i've begun to take an interest in learning how to. So anyways be easy on me please.
It just so happens i'm training swords on EA's servers, so i decided to try to make something simple, that i could learn from. One thing i got stumped on looking through the commands, how can i make this script only cast when the NPC goes below 50% health?

Hello all, most people who know me in UO know me as Wakiza. I've been playing OSI/EA server on and off since late 1999. I started on the Pacific server with my younger brother and acouple friends. Played Pacific untill about two years ago at which point i moved to Atlantic and am still pretty active.
I have been using EasyUO since a guildmate showed me it, probably somewhere between 2001-2002 not really sure. I actually randomly stumbled upon ScriptUO.com while googling. I've read up on some things and downloaded SciptUO and am eager to learn it and test it out.
