I have to think this system is the answer to people getting into the game who haven't been in the game 10+ years.  Have you seen how expensive even a basic "good" swordsmanship item is in Luna nowdays?  Sure, we all know how to farm that gold in a few hours, but someone who was truly new to the game would be dumbfounded.

Shame has erased that gap.  Now you can "level" purely in Shame.  The best item drop I've seen so far was from a guardian troll on the first level.

Hell, I've seen some +20LRC +120Luck +4FCR +2FC rings.  Blew my damn mind.

Do you plan on supporting or do u just want it out for reference.  I have a script left out for just reference in another section so it could possibly fit there if that is the direction you would like

I do not intend to keep up with this.  I just remember auto fishing to be the big fad way back in the day so I released this from my personal library.

I beta'd it pretty extensively.  They lifted the NDA last weekend (and ended the beta), but I managed to shoot quite a bit of in-game footage.  Check it out.

Wasn't around to read this initially, but I just wanted to post a thought I had while reading the original story as it unfolded.

(A little backstory)  I was a *very* bad person ~10 years ago.  I don't talk about these things, anymore, except as warnings.  Since this conversation isn't about that, I will just say I was the kind of person you didn't want to be associated with. (enough backstory)

The teacher's reaction of "I don't remember" is the best possible thing she could have done.  You don't deny it, because then you can be caught in a lie.  You *NEVER* admit to doing it, because then you have hung yourself.  As a person who has had to deal with being on the wrong side of the lawsuit/criminal charges/etc the absolute first thing a lawyer will tell you is "Shut up".  Tell the truth.  Cooperate.  But, never admit to doing anything and be as vague as possible.

I know, it's not being a stand-up person.  But, I just kind of wanted to shed some light on why she would hold that line even though everyone knows (or at least suspects) she is lying.

Also, big props on handling it like a true adult and not running off hot-headed and/or doing something stupid that would have caused more problems.

I got on TC1 and checked out the new Shame.  The items are EXTREMELY powerful for how easy the mobs are to kill.  I mean, by A LOT.

Had one done on an eye tooth.  The pain is very minimal.  Most dentists will prescribe you Oxycontin for afterwards, too.  Mine was sore for ~1 week, but it was a dull, easy to ignore, sore.

The one thing I would caution is the fallout of a root canal.  Your tooth is now dead.  You *WILL* have to have a crown done in the future.  Not immediately by any means, but eventually.  I had mine done ~3 years ago and it's starting to show discolor at the base just now, which I understand is common.

So, make sure you keep up that dental insurance so when you do have to get the crown you don't have to pay through the nose for it.

Yep, Cerv is right.

I set up the buffs and what not to work on when Attack is clicked and enemies are near. That way it would only use mana when you could replenish mana (around mobs) and weren't wasting it sitting at the bank, in a corner, or running around.

Ok, thanks for the update!  I just assumed that's what Pause was for.  I use another script to honor/attack/path for me, so I will likely disable this on my own.

Is it intended that EoO only casts when Attack is clicked?

Quick Tip .... only played for an hour or two but got tired of the cumbersome "Q" button then menu selection for your Favorites...   I did some looking & didn't realize that once you bring up your Favories w/ Default Q button you can then assign each favorite a 1-9 key value... (maybe other buttons didn't try)....

So... once you've assigned a quick key.. it's 1 button bush for various spells / items / poitions etc.. without the Favorites menu!
Enjoy.

I wonder if you can do that somehow with the gamepad (I play PC, but have the xbox controller hooked up)...

Also, like 10 freakin' hours today.  Just hit lvl 30.

holmedog spent a goodly amount of time just watching that shopkeeper's ass & I don't think it worked for him !

Girlfriend came over today, but it was the oldest kid's birthday so no "fun time" for me - she had to leave town tonight.  Luckily, I'm old enough (is that possible?) to not worry about it as much as I did 10 years ago.

The graphics just aren't there yet on ALL those 3D games to get me away from my isometric UO.

There getting there though...one day once they get it right I can see myself playing a 3D game might not be for another 10 years though. ;)

Have you tried one of the games actually enabled for 3d glasses, yet?  I played Crysis 2 on the PC using HDMI out to a 3DTV and it was ~ok.  Definitely real "depth" but the focus point didn't stay consistent enough for me to truly enjoy it.

Got it.

Leveled thieve skills early (lockpick, pickpocket).

Already found an infinite level "feature".  Wouldn't advise doing it as it kind of kills some of the experience, but here it is if you care:  Work pickpocket to ~40.  Get the perks to make it work better (2 points in the first perk should be plenty).  Train one handed weapon at Armen (probably works on all trainers, only one I tried).  Pickpocket the gold back.  The value of the gold will make pickpocket level and the trained swords will make you level.  It takes about 4 iterations to gain a level.  Make sure you train out your level before you actually level up (can only do 5 trains per level).  Rinse, repeat.

I used the above for a level or two before I said "Man, this is cheating".  But, I really wanted the skill in PickPocket (later perks are AWESOME), and so I justified it a little bit...

Edit - Video I made:
t=0m15s (it's still editing so I have some xsplit garbage at the start)

Yea I was working my way through looking for issues, but after I reread your initial post I realized you had not completed that part yet. I do think that you may want to reduce the number of sort books down something like all hammers, POF, large keepers, ect, but good work so far!

I actually don't use that many books myself, LOL.  However, I wanted to continue with what MeWon did, and it does make sense that you might want them sorted that far.

Sort and crafting are now in working order.  I need some more work in the turn in section, but I should be able to get to it tonight.
