Script Debug / the beginnings

ok, i basically took the advise of my elders (hehe) and started from the beginning, testing each piece as I go. So far, I can check to make sure my dagger is in my pack, and I can set my variables. I can now SJ into Covetous and am working on writing in my rail.

Step 1 - Dagger check -> done
Step 2 - Set variables -> done
Step 3 - Recall to harpies -> done
Step 4 - Get on rail and find harpies -> in progress
Step 5 - Kill harpies
Step 6 - Use Claw to loot feathers
Step 7 - Continue on rail killing harpies and looting
Step 8 - When overweight, recall home
Step 9 - Dump loot
Step 10 - Repeat

General UO Chat / Yew vs. Heartwood

Ok, I need to know what everyone thinks. I have gone through 2M+ boards trying to get a heartwood saw. I have about a handful of yews, but I wanted to use Heartwood to get super stuff. I am going to be making some armor for my whammys. I am out of patience waiting and was wondering....... is their really a difference? I read on another post that someone said they get better results from yew than heartwood. Can anyone agree to that?

Any suggestions? Thanks!

UO Bragging Rights / Luckiest Guy Ever!

Well, TT hasn't bothered to share this story with you. He is the luckiest guy ever. If you want something that drops rarely in game, he is the one to have in your party because he will eventually get it.

I first noticed his freaky luck when he was training is white wyrm (yes, it was a while ago). He was training on sphynx and it died. He randomly decided to open the corpse and what does he find? A Chaos Shield Museum Replica, dyed white, on the corpse! Are you kidding me?

Well then we were doing the glade with Ultima for days, over and over, trying to get that stupid Dread Horn Statue for Ultima. Finally, TT gets one. It was late at night, we all wanted to crash, but he talked us into doing just one more glade. What's he get? ANOTHER Dread Horn statue (which was promptly given to Ultima).

I wanted a Minotaur statue, so we started doing the Labrynth. Who got the statue? TT. I still don't have either statue.

I found the demon room in the fan dancer dojo, and got him to join me. I had spent days and days down there, and who gets the mempo after 20 minutes,? TT.

It's disgusting. Just plain disgusting. Even today, we are in the demon room again. He has twice the drops I do.

Hello all. I am Toptwos wife.

I have always been a gamer, but usually console games. TT introduced me to UO about 3 years ago, and he made me start with a lumberjack. "We have to have a lumberjack to make boxes. I will make a miner," he said. So for a whole month, I did nothing but chop trees. Even worse, we hadn't bought the expansion to get the different colored woods yet, so there he was, mining and getting different colored ore and gems, while I was stuck with LOGS! He would be marking runes like crazy for different ore spots, and there I was, chopping away........
Well, once he had gotten back into the game a little, he let me make a real character. That is when I made my main mage/tamer. I play her the most. Right now I am playing a sampire swordsman and am working on a whammy archer (with Ultimas help of course  ;) ) for the ToT event.
I am a full time student, so I don't get to play much. Scripting is the easiest way for me to keep up with TT. I come home one day and he says, "look at my new character! She's a whammy!" Yeah, like I had any idea. I am interested in writing and beta testing scripts. I have very little free time, but I want to spend some time learning how to code.
