ok so i was looking further into what someone else has posted and i figured out to do a backpack scan and not a journal scan

set %itemdrop UES_XDI
repeat

  finditem %ItemDrop C_ , #backpackid
  if #findcnt > 0
  }
  ****************
  IGNOREITEM #FINDID
  }

until #CharGhost = YES
While #Charghost = YES
  Wait 1

so that is what i have so far the ***** are for where i need help with auto insuring the item. i dont know the exact ID of the item yet either if anyone knows the id of the night eyes or the tangle that would be a great help. also if someone can help with the insuring part. is there a macro to insure an item?

i got this information from
http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=4398.0;highlight=backpack+scan
**Update

UES   XDI those are the ids of the two items

Pretty sure we have a script to auto insure pack drops around here... try a search?

There's one over at EasyUO you could probably mod for yourself.

If you are doing this by hand, make SURE to put an event property in there and check the item you are about to insure to be ABSOLUTELY positive it's not ALREADY insured... You don't want the script uninsuring items you already have insured....

I think a crimmy is same object id as tangle.  I know my navery script got mixed up once and signaled me I had a drop and my crimmy was in my pack instead of on my paperdoll.   I have yet to see that new necklace if someone gets the ID off it please post it.

so a friend pointed out that it wasnt completely working for him. so i went about and tried to see what was going wrong. i figured out that if you are on mount you will need to adjust some things. on line 37 38 you will need to adjust that just a little bit. also in line 53 instead of it being goto waitforcursor have it set for goto loop

another thing to note if you are running this script with another scirpt that is targeting another player and or monster becareful of it. this will either lose the target of the monster and if your script doesnt have it retarget your script will be pretty much dead use until its fixed or you wont insure your item. and keep in mind this can be used for any script such as the heartwood quester or others. just set the id of the item at the top
