Title: Explaination of Pen Trick Please.

Preface to this question is....I suck at this and am trying to understand, what and why, so any help here would be great.

I am looking at the pen trick in TM's Hide/Stealth script. I am trying to understand it but I don't really understand the step by steps of the trick and why that it works the way it does. If I could understand that the script would make more sense to me and I could work with it.

The pen trick is simply a skill timer avoidance bug.  The steps are simply to use the skill, open the scribe pen menu, click make last, close menu, go back to step one.  This process is repeated everytime.

Not sure why it works, something they wrote into UO a long time ago.

For a while it was Honor. You could do something that would normally have a timer on it, like Hiding... if you failed you could just use Honor and immediately hide again.

I think there's a wrapper floating around that allows you to use the pen trick with different skills.... not sure where though.

I did not know this either, its a rather neat trick, but seems sketchy.
