Title: Simple quest turn-in for tinker tools. (Freeshard)

This is a simple turn-in tool for the Necessity's Mother (10x tinker's tools) quest but it is very easy to modify it for whatever you need. It requires Kal In Ex's OCR and to change the MLQuestOffer sub to have your shard's name instead of Alexandia if you play on a free shard.

There is no restocker or loot evaluator, the script will pause when the backpack becomes full or the ingots run out.

Nevertheless I found this script very useful while trying to get rare recipes so I am sharing it.


Ver 1.2: Some fixes, some optimizing.
Ver 1.1: Added a very simple looting engine that trashes the 3 alchemy recipes and quest bags and sorts everything else into a single bag.

maybe I should introduce you to Heartwood quester :) take a look in the scripts section...

The heartwood quester only works for OSI handles the carpentry and fletching quests. This tool works on freeshards and handles the tinkering quest. Apples and oranges. ;)

Added version 1.2. I have all the rare recipes now. Scrappers took way too long. TM's CLAW lite works well for sorting out worthwhile loot from the keeper bag, so I won't try to reinvent the wheel there. Good luck with your questing.

Hi I would like to know if anyone can help me with this scritp I have physical problems for action back then I would return utie use it, but yesterday I tried and I do not recognize the quest continues to turn the quests you can never point to fix this?

Hello all hope someone can help me.
 Several times I encountered this problem with the script does not recognize me the quest gump example in the following page the gumbo is constantly changing as if he saw the quest mhother

I think this is part of the script manager but I do not understand what's wrong with the script in question is tinkerquest
 In addition, other scripts such as collection bod
 that use these descriptions to select an object does not recognize the difference

or this would serve to distinguish the boot from boot thing but when the script works the bod is not always realized differnza and boot with the bod thing boots
 How could I solve these problems?

Please keep all questions regarding a script in the thread for that script. Give the author a chance to see your issues. Chances are they already have a fix for you, but they may never see your issues unless you post in the script's thread.

Miaxi, have you had any input on this script yet? It's tough to find testers for free shards but I do see that it's been downloaded a few times. Just wondering how the development of this is going.

it's not working for me, keeps going through all the quests but never picks the right one.

This script's author hasn't responded to the thread in over three years, this is why it's in "Inactive Submissions".

I just wanted to try this one but it looks i have the same problem just passing throw the quest and don't pick the right one.And there is no support any more    :(
Version 1.2 it's just telling me "Move next to a trash box and restart"

Back in 2011  UO put a patch and broke Kal In Ex's OCR ( Quest part).   TM have the heardwood wuest that work some of the quest.  If you can find the magic of this script. all the quest are your. 

If you can't read the quest.  what can you do to make  the task easierr?
