Make sure you've put the right login/port, also in case server requires encryption you must check this option.
PS: Build 2 released a few fixes and additions, update in case you already downloaded RC7.

We already managed the encryption support, I've tested a few features and it seems to work.
I cannot say it is really well tested, I do not play or have an OSI account myself but as a trial account it works fine.

It is probably going public soon, on RC7, stay tuned.
Next version will also include ingump command to search for a string in gump, elseif statement, mobile and item attributes will now be easier to lookup organized in groups (no need for EUO scripts to scan items) and fixes :)

As for documentation, our main website www.assistuo.com has commands and samples, keep in mind it is a flexible script language but still command based, we will post more macros on our Script Library as soon as we have time.

Hello, it has nothing to do with being addicted to RunUO or even sponsored by them... we will add OSI support, however we already have a lot to do before that.

RC6 is coming soon with new commands, fixes and features.
There is also a custom map package download and loader going on, for shards using custom maps where players have no need to replace original EA files or keep different UO installations in order to play :)

Yoooooo, for the sake of my own curiosity... what caused OSI to become more difficult to work with as far as programs go such as Razor / AssistUO?

I could bet because of Data Encryption :)

Kinda because of the encryption but thats not all.

Thing is, even using same protocol, OSI has updated packets we did not tested yet, not only updated protocol but even using the same protocol each emulator has it own way to handle things internally, and, sometimes, even their response is a little different, a few features of AUO need to be tested in all environments in order to provide you a working/stable behavior.

Bottom line is, we do not want to add OSI support without having the time to try it and fix minor issues that may appear, unfortunately time is really short as we are already working on a few stuff.

OSI support will come as soon as possible :)

Artaxerxes,

There has been some interesting projects since yours.  First is Stealth.  Great project, but since you have to program it in either Pascal or Python, this is a total turn off for me personally.

Next is AssistUO.  This looks to be a Razor replacement, but if you look at what Ximan said at EUO, the author is intending to use Java scripting to automate and that's intriguing.:
http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=49444#p408190

If your core could be less fragile (like both Stealth and AssistUO - i.e. survive patches) and allow for C# scripting, that would be a great development indeed.
Yes, we are intending to add Javascript v8 support as an alternative macro engine, for advanced users; however it is not our priority right now, we have to keep in mind that we are providing an assistant not a bot program (:

Anyways, our simple macro engine allows much more than Razor and it is really flexible, we are adding support to new commands and stuff as soon as we have time, also, writing our documentation on our main website. Javascript engine will come, not sure when, there are a few things we have to deal with such as Map/Positioning system and some other features.

We are also planning to add a task manager to AUO which will help people to bind events to macros and handle account connectivity.

Hi, I'm Kraz and I've been into the UO community for a while, specially on RunUO and here in Brazil.

Found ScriptUO community like 2 or 3 years ago, never introduced myself but I think it is very nice to have such an open mind community when it comes to scripting, tools and people willing to help each other.

Nowadays I'm not playing UO, I've been busy with projects and just finished my bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering.
As a side note, I'm one of the two developers of AssistUO, in case you have any questions or troubles feel free to ask me.

Thanks.
