So much has changed - I feel even more n00bish now
On a side note.. My name is Steve, I am 40 years old, married with 5 dogs. The economy has hit my wife and I very hard but at least we have our "children".
We both enjoy UO (Myself somewhat more). Tho she doesnt like scripters heh heh.
Anyway she is yapping at me to make a run to the store so I am off

After reading some of the other introduction posts (and given the fact the wife is asleep, so i have more me time ), I thought I would add some more content to my post
After coming back to UO, and playing on free server, I have found that the hardest thing to get used to is being able to GM everything (not to mention to 120).
I was used to having a crafter, a PK'r, and a PVM character. I can honestly say that I should have done more research on my character creation. (Ie: Instead of a Garg, creating a Female elf for gear etc). But one thing that has always been nice about UO is the fact that even with the small issues facing someone, you can have fun and enjoy playing whatever type of character you create.
I do miss OSI, my main account in general. It was a grandfathered account that had several houses (Castle, two keeps and a patio house). I remember the good times of scripting fishing while at my job, coming back with 20 SoS bottles in my pack (before they put them on serpents).
I believe the last expansion I played in was T2A, so all this content is a bit overwhelming. I just started back 57 days ago, so I did what I do best. I started creating characters and scripting my skills etc up. Mining for cash etc.
I just did my first champ yesterday (ever) and got a 120 Parry, so I was tickled at that. Not to mention the free gold on the ground!!
Now truth be known I could write 20 pages about my gaming experience so far, and my jump back into script writing/editing. Due to a severe injury I am at home all week, with no human contact. So interacting, whether it be through written, or voice (love vent), is keeping me sane right now . I tease my wife telling her I am a "Latch Key Husband". (if you dont get that google Latch Key Kids)
Anyway if you have gotten this far, Thank You for not going insane yourself from my ramblings.
Oh and Balthazer is a name I got from a text based Mudd in the late 80's. I have used that name for 30 years of playing BBS games to MMORPG's. And I bet I have played nearly all of them
