Title: Bestial Suit - Overpowered?!

I'm hearing a lot of people talk about the Bestial Suit as though it's overpowered.  How, exactly?  Because I just don't see it...

EDIT:  And no sooner do I post this, then do I see two obvious PvPers wearing imbued Bestial suits.  Interesting...

yea..they're all imbued. I guess you can imbue all the cleanup armor

when they were anounced i put their details into a spread sheet and figured out it would make a bad sampire suit due to too many mods needed to imbue resists. It would be intesting to see if they can be applied succesfully to pvp.

yes all the clean up armor can be imbued they gave it decent stats so you can alter it for your needs... although they have a sense of humor... each suit has one piece that is not meddable so if you are a mage you have to waste one full slot 100 points on making that piece meddable.

Try one on a bush parry dexxer with poisoning and then they are really overpowered. ;)

What stats would you imbue? Stam regen, resists to 70? Stam increase etc?

gloves: 7lmc 2mr 4mana inc 17/19/5/5/17
legs: 6lmc 2mr 5hpi 4mana inc 4/19/5/18/5
gorget: 8mana inc 2mr mage armor 17/20/7/7/8
helm: 5hpi 3mana inc 2mr 19/6/22/19/7
Rune Beetle Carapace
sleeves: 5hpi 6mana inc 2mr 7lmc 7/8/11/18/13

that leaves me with 69/70/64/70/64 with 25hit point inc with a crimmy +35 mana increase and 15 mana regen with a conjurers garb on, 40 lmc with Mana Phasing Orb.

Ps. The Resist that are already on the pieces dont count as an imbuing mod.

Best way to see the potential is to make a char on the new test arena server and see the folks that run the suit there.  I run a dexxer but my mage buddies tell me that it can absorb alot of damage but once you are in the bestial cycle it's hard to get out and heal.  I have seen it take 3 flamestrikes in a row at health ranges that would have kill anyone else but your kinda stuck waiting for the special to end before you can heal.

I busted out one of the barding suits for one of my support chars but I'm not sure of what return I've gained from it.
