Been playing UO on and off since Beta version of OSI
I am a long time supporter of the UO community. I have played many of the free shards over the years and OSI for many years prior. I ran a shard for a bit and I am fundamentally awful at combat.... I am really good at wandering aimlessly and dying mostly. My favorite aspects of the game are the nostalgia I feel for all the places in the game. I have dabbled in coding but not good enough to call myself a coder.
I practiced by taking old Sphere and RunUO scripts and messing with them until they had no errors in the ServUO pubs. I have staffed on a half dozen shards over the years. Mostly my strong point has been in event management roles. I have always used Razor but I have seen that not using other macro programs are useful in combat and I am trying to branch out. So that is what led me here.
Perhaps if I can learn how some of the existing scripts work I can tweak some or make something of my own to share with the community. Best VV
