UO News / Re: [UO.com]Publish 108 IDOC Update Felucca Testing

If loot is given to anyone within 2 tiles when the barrel is smashed then wouldn't just being near someone doing the smashing give you a chance at loot?

If so staying next to someone who is smashing stuff would get you loot would it not? or do you need to do any of the smashing to get looting rights?

From the patch notes - "Loot from destroyed barrels will only be rewarded to players that are within 2 tiles of the barrel."

Can you not follow someone around while hidden to get lootz?

Gold Farming / Re: Crisis SOS Chest Fisher - Updated 6-19-13

Just wanted to say that I used this and it works great still, right out of the box.

Is it worth sorting stuff though? It seems that cash to bank + chest and all contents to city cleanup trash container is the fastest way to handle them. You can wrangle a bit more gold out of them by sorting and moving stuff but I would argue that you'll make the same gold, or more, by spending that time with the hook in the water instead.

If you're working on clean up pts, what's the best item to sell for profit on OSI too? Dyes sell well but cost 250k pts, worth it?

Just trying to find the optimal was of being lazy, I mean, maximizing profit.

Scripting Chat / Re: Dealing with Deeds

Roadkills RKUltraOrganizer.txt

- set the get item type to TVH
- open every container full of deeds within range
- set it to search all open containers
- add a little text of a specific deed, like "fire painting"

I keep my deeds chests near my vendor so I can pull all of the same ones out at the same time, price once. Some deeds are EWH and not TVH, fyi.

No, it's recent enough and ongoing. I gave TM a heads up the first time I witnessed it last year and it's happened a couple of times since.

Nope, you can lock up the thread too, this one was pre-changes to idocs and a very old effort.

Crafting / Re: NObama BOD Sorter
« on: April 02, 2018, 05:15:09 AM »
Works great. Good candidate to have a simple reward level sorter too with the new points system. The only small bods really worth doing are exceptional and the only large bods really worth doing are nomal, still(in my opinion). Sometimes getting 5 runics on exceptional smalls is a better return than finishing an exceptional large. The opposite is true on normal bods.

Small Bods
Smithy 0-199 // Churn
Smithy 200-449 // Garg pickaxes and prospector tools for two level mining upgrade
Smithy 450-649 // Pofs
Smithy 650-899 // Copper and Bronze runic hammers, best for reforging imo
Smithy 900+ // Lots of goodies up there

Sorting into books within point ranges would be cool. There really is no need to think only specific bods give specific rewards anymore. If you're considering an upgrade I'd have it break bod books down by pt level. I'm not sure how easy it is to pick up the specific bod point value because it's not shown on the actual bod, you have to click the bod and get a gump to see the point value, but the old +200 for execptional, +50 per color level, + such and such for count still works.

Has this been done already in any sorter?

In case it's not obvious, I am in no way upset or annoyed. I just think it's in poor taste to show a screenshot of yourself using an updated version of EUO, saying it's working great, knowing you are showing it to people who don't have it. That's all.

I appreciate people are working on it but if you show it's working(for you) and it's another week down for everyone else(or more) there's lots of incentive for non-elite members to script for other stuff that doesn't go down every patch instead. Just saying.

I know this is an older thread but it returns first on the subject and has some good info so... get over it :)

Does anyone know if a chart or calculator exists as to what bods to expect if you bride "x" bod?

Is there RNG involved or will a specific bod always give the same specific bribe result bod? The OP points out that one bod went up in number from 10 to 15 but another 15 stayed 15 and instead jumped 2 levels in material. Bribery, to me, is useful if I can know what the resulting bod will be, as you can tell I don't do bods "hardcore".

My alchemy bods always go from 10 to 15 or 15 to 20 of the same type and there is no exceptional making bribery super easy. I'm specifically asking about blacksmithing bod bribes here which seem decidedly more complicated.

Thanks.
