Lumberjacking In The Ter Mur ?
« on: October 11, 2009, 09:14:27 AM »

I have used MWInc script for lumberjacking and I just marked a full book in Ter Mur and all the script is doing is recalling around and not chopping but if I use my fel runbook it works just fine.

Was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

Did you step through the script using F7?  If you do, you'll see the problem immediately.

Hint:  Pay close attention to the variable values that the script is scanning for.

If it works with your fel runebook, I don't think it is a script problem. Sometimes it matters where you mark your runes (such as if you are close enought to the trees and what not). I am a big fan of MWinc, both lumberjacking and mining, and sometimes I have issues of where I mark my runes.

I have not tried jacking in Ter Mur, but I would start there, maybe only mark one rune (with an empty book) and try that. See if you have to be is special spots or some weird nonsense.

Did you see if you can even chop there?
If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Then give up. There is no use in making a fool of yourself.

You can chop...manually...the devs either very cleverly or completely unintentionally neutered a favorite script technique for resource harvesting...

I'm really hoping it's an issue with EUO as opposed to a stroke of brilliance on the part of the devs...

Has anyone tested to see if mining is the same way?

If your mining script scans tilesets, then yes.  Mine just uses relative positions.

*Think Think.... Think Think.....*

Was always A bigger fan of Tigger........

Anyways, Tile scanning and Targetting is Glitchy in Ter Mur. Can't Target the Snake Nests, or other certain items with event macro 22 0.

Just SOL as far as that is Concerned until easyuo figures it out. A note about Tiles my script can't mine.

When Marking Runes, always Use Cyberpopes Radars. If his Script has a hard Time Finding A tile in An 8x8 Within reach, My script will have the same Problem.

Working on a Hybrid version of My resource gatherers, Be patient I'll release a beta Soon enough.

I believe this is an easyuo Problem.  The Title command probably needs updating to access the new terrain information.
