What to do with Blackrock?

So, what do you do with blackrock when scripting mining?

Most scripts put it into a separate secure container, but that only holds 125.

Seems like a much better method would be to drop it at the mining site.... but I'm pretty sure blackrock doesn't decay.... so it'd be really easy to find miners. Just look for the piles of blackrock and you found one.

A mini-rail when dumping ore? Have a trash (at bank or house) and rail in to dump ore and blackrock?

I have always had the BR go into a seperate container inside the container where I am dropping my ore...I also have my trash barrell on the steps next to my ore container...then each morning when I relog on after the server downtime I just trash the container with BR in it and replace a new empty container. I have never had more then 40 or so BR after mining for 23.15 hours, so I have never run out of room.

I had a second account move all of them to another unsecured container so it would decay.

Maybe.... have a secure with 125 small bags in it. Move one of them into the "dump bag" and when the item count of the dump bag gets to 120 have it drag/drop the blackrock container to the ground so it'll decay, then grab another empty bag and set it as the new blackrock bag?

As soon as I get off my lazy @ss and make it know the diff between blackrock and diamonds, then you can just target the trash as your blackrock secure.

Where were you mining?  I get like .7 per hour unless I house mine.

Recall mining all over the place... Seems like I got a lot less blackrock before, maybe they turned up the spawn rate to inconvenience script miners....

That's why I'm seeing the increase. Good catch MW. Looks like a good time to revamp the mining scripts to account for the increase in blackrock.

That's exactly what I was going to point out Mass, my miner let's you pick a different Blackrock container, just select a garbage can next to your "dump" bag.

When I read they were going to change the drop rate of blackrock I automatically assumed they would be decreasing it. What's the logic behind increasing the drop rate on an item that has no use? An Anti-Scripting measure?

Does this mean when mining in Ter Mur the chance for getting Crystalline Blackrock is now higher as well?

I haven't been mining lately so I haven't seen the changes first hand.

I agree - it might become useful soon. I wonder if they will let it decay?
I have 3 or 4k of it on my store house floor - any monster walking by became infected - I wonder if that still happens?
