Water Barrels.....??? What Sneaky use are people putting these too in dungeons

I've seen what almost looks to be barricades or paths made of sporadic water barrels in various dungeons and out of the way places on different shards.   What are they being used for?

Markers. Both of were to stand in some cases and others were raiders come in and also to help do the spawns.

It has also been used as a way to block people. If you dropped an impassible object and put a barrel over it, you had to be able to empty the barrel and move it to move the object. The barrels don't expire, so often when someone put down a barrier the object that was blocking eventually goes away and the barrels are still there. It was an effective way to barricade while you did the spawn if you did enough of them.

Nothing like faction days of fighting in bases that had water barrels six tiles high blocking vision of the ground and piles of candelabras underneath them. -.-

Yes cadelabras were the way to go. I used to always make a box full of a 100 cadelabras and then place them where i wanted to and then break the crate with an axe that was fun also Imagine picking up 100 of them or even several crates full of them

Yea.. I get the use of them as markers for drop-in locations and faction bases & what not but I think I recall that a water barrel made it easier via line of sight to teleport / shadow jump which was the use I was thinking of.   In a Scripted situation though I don't quite get how they might be used but I'll just ask the auther I think heh..
